@@ziadmutasim1235 People who talk about "the greatest of all time" are generally referring to a period of twenty or thirty years. Given that "all time" hasn't yet expired and that none of us have seen much of it, it's a bit silly to bestow these accolades on someone who happens to be the speaker's own personal favorite.

Dont forget that Stephen was the greatest break builder of all time before Ronnie, and for a while they went basically back and forth. I think prime Hendry was a better match player than Ronnie, since he was so damn consistent. In regards to most entertaining and gifted, obviously Ronnie wins 100% of the time.

Not every shot is positioned as if with his hands. When a player is doing that repeatedly, it is because he has lost control of the cueball. Instead they play for where the options are, be it 2 or 5 possible reds etc. I am not knocking Ronnie, he is the top of top players out there but snooker play has guidance and rules as a player, to follow and the reason why is because of getting used to the cloth and other conditions. You'll also realise that playing long position across paths is not a easy thing to continually do, shot after shot and it goes wrong very easily. Smaller more precise shots, options, and mistakes, overruns, conditions, kicks etc.... But yea, Ronnie is at the top of the game. Many have most of his qualities while his downfall has always been his temperament and yearning to play at the top of his game. He seems to have let go of certain things lately and playing really well again, more so, enjoying it.

It's a snooker table, not a golf course

He came up in the era where tables were still not of the highest quality, as they have been the last 20 years or so. All the guys from the old era used to do exhibitions on all kinds of tables, nowadays the modern players moan about the cloths & bounces endlessly.

I dont think he is at the top of his game! Best Ronnie is the one who hit a 147 in 5:20. No one will ever be that Ronnie, but he is still pretty damn good.

@@siavashsabet2462 don't said that. the Ronnie that made a 147 in 5:20 was full of flaws. This Ronnie is the final version... Not at his best in skill but a much more refined version that has been the goat now for at least a decade in my view. He's a fine and tune machine now, that accepts he's gonna miss or play a bad shot now and again. He's also a much better match player that he ever was when he did that record 147. I prefer that older Ronnie.

What I said is that the young Ronnie that did that fastest 147 was not a better player than the "current" Ronnie from the last decade. Young Ronnie was more flamboyant, faster and arguably a better potter but was like I said full of flaws. Ronnie is now a much better snooker player and has won much more tournaments because he now plays with his strengths and has very little mistakes. So I disagreed with your first comment when you said that Ronnie was better when he was younger. Then you contradicted yourself by saying that current Ronnie is a better player. In any case it's all good. We are both Ronnie's fans and obviously we both love the game of snooker. Cheers mate.

this is the quintessential O'Sullivan game, he changed the game, this is the perfection everyone is striving for now.

The shot at 1:30 most players would have classed it as loss of position, but for Ronnie a 5 foot approx. cannon shot is still a regular shot.

Without wanting to take anything away from Ronnie that wasn't a match table so the pockets aren't as tight, to someone like Ronnie they might look like buckets but you still have to cue well, then theres the thick cloth to get used to, all round the guy is a genius
