For hot water to cook... you get the chickery water from the brown cooler for coffee and tea .... or shower water to get something decently hot. That's more like county jail moves ya know, no TVs or power outlets there... Hell!

I've never been to prison, but in the military, we cooked up foods pretty similarly, especially if our MRE chemical cook bags didn't work right, or we had no water. Thanks for sharing this, Ronnie.

I think there is a wooden prison in switzerland. (not sure it's that country but it's in Europe) This prison allows the prisonners to cook with knifes and go outside. It's not about the punishment but more about the rehabilitation. But it's complicated to do the same in America i guess (i'm french, and we don't have that kind of prisons neither, i believe it's the only one)

This was so funny and I love the 80s music in the background!! I needed a good laugh. Never been to prison but I've been to jail. I remember when we would got our commissary items every Friday or Saturday. These two girls got into a physical altercation because one of them took the other one's bag of Skittles, coffee, and sanitary pads. One was sent to solitary for 48 hours. Definitely an interesting experience.

The sound song in my head is so good for my soul and mind. We are not aware that we are constantly killing ourselves in the turmoil of life. beautiful metaphors were used and when people control themselves, then reaching the exit is also a beautiful narrative for a beautiful eastern art.
