Sorry but "what about the gay guy that just did my hair last night" is a funnily bad way to say that you support the LGBT+ people. "I'm not racist, my gardener is mexican !" "I'm not transphobic/racist, I work/have worked with trans people/people of color !" Meanwhile when one of my friend's stopped working his last job he found out that his coworkers were calling him gross and stinky and unhygenic behind his back because he's Indian. Now I don't hate the guy. Frankly the only thing I don't like about him is that his music is mostly cringe and he has this weird beef with music critics (do you really wanna take Drake's side?), but he does have his flaws.
However if Tim Lambesis can get the pass for trying to hire a hitman for his wife, and if black metal as a genre can have fans, I don't think Ronnie having like one or two good songs (Popular Monster is a fuckin BANGER), and the at this point ancient controversies is really as much of an issue. I stopped liking him because he started to annoy me. I get some people find his "humor" online funny but it's just annoying to me. I actually unfollowed him on all social media when he started going off on his rants. I never cared about any of his controversial opinions until recently because I mainly kept to myself online, so my sole reason for disliking him until recently was purely because of him getting so annoying to me. 12yr old me probably would've thought he was funny, but 12yr old me also thought Onision was funny so I don't trust 12yr old me's sense of humor.

about the trans thing: He used very inflammatory language talking about Dylan: "ideology," "offensive to women**" and "mock their biology." All these are right wing talking points. Also, Blair White (the trans women in his music video) is THE worst person you could associate with if you want to seem like a genuine LGB[T]+ ally (she's a trump supporter need i say more). The way he then responded, talking about all the LGBT+ people he knows and is friends with just seemed like he was overcompensating. I know you did explain is just part of his personality (and I do understand that now) but from an outside perspective it all just seems incredibly foul. Anyone 'defending' him is saying things like "hes just telling the truth" and "he's not afraid of cancel culture" referring to trans women not having periods, which nobody in their right, sane mind has ever said otherwise. It's just more transphobic rhetoric that tries to paint trans people as deviants or as delusional. If a person was guilty of a crime as horroble as rape and they got away with it, it's extremely unlikely that they would then turn around and sue the person making those accusations. A guilty person would have just let it go and felt lucky. A counter sue would be STUPID for a guilty person to attempt, and Ronnie isn't dumb. i introduced my girlfriend to falling in reverse and ronnie radke. i went through all the list of why people hate on him and she was so insanely concerned why i was so into him before i explained that 90% of it is bs, and his entire social media presence is basically just a character he’s playing leaning into the hate. also, i’m super queer and have experienced transphobia and homophobia firsthand for a long time, even before i was out or even understood myself, but his comments have never bothered me. he’s definitely said a lot that’s pretty messed up but when you look into him more he has a lot of love for his fans and for music as a whole and gender and sexuality have never affected that, so i have to wonder how much of it is just his persona
The difference between someone refusing to call you by your name and someone refusing to acknowledge pronouns, gender, sexuality, etc is that no one is making laws to hurt or hinder people named Moo. There's a lot to be upset by when a person is hateful about your pronouns, gender, etc because that person is allowed to vote on something that doesn't affect them but could greatly affect you and your well-being.

just met him last weekend at his concert. he was super nice. he treated us like he’d met us before. even though it was very brief, he was so dope to be around.
he didn't actually do any of that except for the brass knuckles from what i know. according to the people who have met him, he's actually one of the nicest guys. also, ha has been clean from all drugs, even alcohol, for 14 years, since he got out of prison.

After he and the dudes dropped "Ronald," I thought that Ronnie is an artist people will still bring up 50 years from now. He is genuinely SO creative and distinct. From Listen Up, to The Webs We Weave all the way to the newer singles, you can say, "yep this is a ronnie song" or "this verse sounds like Ronnie Radke"

I am very grateful for this video because I myself saw these negative allegations and presumed they were legit without doing research. For a while I felt guilty for liking some of his songs... ie ''I heard a knock upon my door the other day'' no other song starts with as much energy as that, prove me wrong
It's subjective what you feel has more energy but a few that I personally feel have a lot more energy than that are: Bombshell by Powerman 5000, Infamous by Motionless in White, Psychosocial by Slipknot, & Blind by Korn. That's just a handful that I personally get more energized by the beginning of, again it's subjective and I loved early FIR stuff. I haven't really loved anything past Fashionably Late, I've liked a couple songs like "I ama aware that I am an asshole" but basically all the rest of them have done nothing for me personally. I liked Tech9's verse in Ronald but the rest of the song was MEH at best for me.
