Now I get the part on Zombified where he throws the mic stand and kills a zombie immediately signs “they’ll never let go of something you said 10 years ago”. Straight fire
Honestly, I don't think he meant to hurt anyone by doing this. He was most likely hyper, tired, had an adrenaline rush, and wasn't fully aware of his actions. Sure, it was wrong to do such a thing, but everyone makes mistakes.
***** "He was most likely hyper, tired, had an adrenaline rush, and wasn't fully aware of his actions." Doesn't look like you read the entirety of my comment.
Awad Ulhaq People do stupid stuff when they’re running on adrenaline-which he probably was. I’m not defending the action in-and-of itself, but I’m defending the reason he did it. He was really hyper and was trying to excite the crowd. It was a dumb thing to do, but he probably wasn’t thinking ahead.
Brandy Morales lol I think that girl overreacted, it was a tiny cut she received and sue pd for 1 million. I hope that paid for her “stitches” I bet she still listens to FiR and brags that’s she got hit in the head with a mic stand to her friends.
I like their music, but this was just stupid. How did he think it okay to throw fucking micstands (plural) into the crowd? Also, why exactly did he do it? Was he mad or..?
+〈Why〉 As he says "I'VE LOST MY FUCKING MIND!" and then he threw the microphone stands in the crowd. One victim was a 16-year-old girl who was taken to the hospital for treatment of a cut she received to the head, while the other was a 24-year-old man who was treated on the scene.
+〈Why〉 Because at the time he didn't fully recover from his drug-induced brain. But you still have to appreciate how far he came in life. He used to be on oxycontin, cocaine, and heroin. He got kicked out of his old band (Escape the Fate) because got arrested for WITNESSING a murder. When he got out of his 2 year imprisonment, he stopped doing drugs, stopped drinking, started working out, and look at him now. Yes, what he did to the crowd was very fucked up, but c'mon now.
It was a mistake. Yes, stupid one, but hell, if xxxtentacion (I love his music,, very inspiring) threw them, nobody would care. And it's only this generation who gets mad at injuries at rock concerts. If you're scared don't go. Yeah, what he did was wrong, but it was over 4 years ago. Let it go.
The reason I love falling in reverse is because they are my discovery band. I heard them and fell in love with the band and the people and fir made me discover etf, bvb, atl, and ptv. And so I love fir...
Although I highly doubt that he meant to hurt anyone, this guy can obviously be fucking crazy and there's proof, mugshots, etc.. I still like the music, it cracks me up so much! But I'm not going to defend this guy like other people here... He might have not been thinking in times like this, but that is no excuse for hurting people like that.
Wow. Okay so, I'm a fan of FIR, always have been, the 2nd album threw me off for a bit, but the new song from the new one sounded good so maybe..Ronnie wasn't having a tantrum, or upset, he clearly was excited, although the third was definitely overkill. I don't approve of him, or this, I am not 'in love' with him, I like the music. I went to an Alice Cooper show, and he threw 2 crutches and his cane into the crowd. I'm surprised no one was injured considering everyone there had 30 years on me. Musicians don't think when they're on stage;they just do.
everyone who hates him only sees what they want to. They see a guy who throws a mic. Stand into the crowd. they choose to only see the bad/wrong things he has done in his life time. While at the same time ignoring everything good he was done.
I feel like he just wanted to throw something for the fun of it and that was the first thing that came to mind lol. Probably realized halfway through throwing it that it's kinda heavy. 😅
All these fucking comments about how Ronnie's an asshole. 😂 Yeah, okay. Ronnie's awesome. If he threw a mic stand at me I would've laughed so damn hard. People taking this shit to heart. Let the man throw mic stands. 😂
Ronnie apologized and said he was sorry. He had no intention to hurt anyone, it was all out of adrenaline. He's doing his best to be a better person...I honestly respect him for it.
i dont like to hear about anyone getting hurt, but it is a mosh pit. If you are going to stand around in the mosh pit be prepared to get hit, kicked by crowd surfers, other people or things the musicians throw off of the stage. It's not the smartest move by musicians to throw things into crowds of people. But it is the person's decision to get into the mosh pit, so they should be prepared for things that could happen.
Falling In Reverse have been my favourite band for almost three years now and, personally, I love their music and I think Ronnie is a talented guy. But this? This was a really dickish thing to do. I know he's admitted that it was a mistake and has apologised now but that doesn't make it okay. Ah well, I think the thing people need to realise is that Ronnie is a person. He did a stupid thing on stage probably because of being hyped up with the excitement and the adrenaline of performing. He's a musician who's made some pretty fucking dumb choices and done some stupid shit. I just hate the fact that he's know renowned as the guy who "threw the mic stand into the crowd" It was 2 years ago, people. Grow up and move on.
Jimi Hendrix threw a guitar (THAT WAS ON FIRE LET ME ADD). Into a crowd and its nothing!!! Ronnie throws a couple mic stands and suddenly he should,d go to hell
Yup he lost his fucking mind. Lol. I’m glad he put his life back on track. He clearly wasn’t intending to hurt anybody he was just heated in the moment of adrenaline and fucked up. Humans make mistakes but a mistake like this is forgivable in my opinion. Had he done it with the intention to hurt someone I would say otherwise.
Dude.. he loves his fans. Also, it defeats the purpose of saying chill the fuck out if you say it in all caps. He threw a couple mic stands, the things barely weigh anything and guaranteed they were caught by the fans because who the fuck goes to a show and isn't watching the band. If you're turned away and not paying attention you deserve what comes your way.
Six flags is supposed to be a family environment and him yelling fuck shit repeatedly and throwing the microphones was like a personal fuck you to six flags. Still respect and admire him, glad I didn't go to this concert though
Im gonna be completely honest here. Im a 100% sure I would NOT think this would be harmful in any way if it was me. I would just be superduper hype and wanna do some "rock and roll cool shit" in the end. Its not like other bands doesnt throw other stuff like drumsticks etc. I know ofc this would hurt more and ev. but its not like its a whole ass guitar or anything. Like cmon guys. He totally understood afterwards that it maybe wasnt so smart but I would not think anything wrong of it at first thought in the moment either.
It's inexcusable. This is Six Flags. How does someone make such a stupid decision like throwing mic stands at a crowd and not expect someone to get hurt?
I believe in a new world where microphone abuse (especially those with stands) are not subjugated to fowl acts such as the one shown in this video. I for one do not believe that a sweaty drugged out individual shall not throw thy fellow stand at a fan girl anymore! This abuse is not just for the amount of time we had to go throw this cringe worthy set. This is our year people! #FreeTheMicStands2k15
