Do you mean the one and only God who created everything in existence and love all with no judgment or condemnation? He’s mighty but I’m not sure that He’s rich. Lol Wel I guess He could be if He needed money for something. haha. And don’t forget her sister Estelle, who left us way too early. 😊
@@mj6962 I'm pretty sure NewWaveFan1 was referring to Eddie Money's 1986 hit "Take Me Home Tonight" which featured an uncredited Ronnie Spector singing her signature lines. That helped revitalize Ronnie's career and brought her to the knowledge of a whole generation that probably knew little of that pioneering Girl Groups era prior to the Beatles. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3aJvIFK9-xk.htmlfeature=shared
When I hear Ronnie sing I’m a teen in the sixties again. She’s the most beautiful woman in the world. Great voice, great smile. RIP Peace Ronnie and Estelle. 😔💜
LOL No she didn't. She recorded one song with the E Street band without Bruce which was a Billy Joel cover so they could make some money, it was not a hit.
@@betsyduane3461 and joined them on the tour. Came from Bruce himself and Steve Van Zandt at that point the E Street band were broke.. Get with the picture.
@@betsyduane3461 Actually, from what I read else, Billy Joel actually wrote that song about Roni and she wanted to record the song, which she did with Bruce's band in a rare case of their doing a song without Bruce.
You can tell the younger ladies had such a great time with Ronnie. Shes an amazing performer and seems like she wants everyone to have a great time. I'd love to watch her sing
Such as strong women, that had to go through some really hard stuff in her life. She still smiled through it, a world class singer, & carried herself with dignity. If you want to see how to be a fantastic human being & never give up see Ronnie Spector. Immensely missed x
One of the voices that still sends chills of delight through me. I was almost 4 years old when I first heard this song and it just sounded so different from the other music we were hearing on am radio at the time. It wasn’t until years later that I found out and understood the “Wall of Sound”, but that angelic voice of Ronnie’s is the real highlight. When my time comes and I’m laying in my deathbed, play this song and I’ll die happy.
¡Maravillosa! ❤
