Everyone who does a Chuck Berry song is smart enough to know you don't need to do anything except play it. Chuck's music is simple but has everything. It is fun and needs no embellishment. Good onya Ron!
It's crazy. You get goofball who want to take the fun out of music. Many of them can play technically, but still a lot of them suck because they have horrible styles. A guy that can play the most technical stuff is Larry Carlton, but he also plays simple tunes. He goes by what is good. This is good.
Eminence front. HE can play great, but this is his image. I like his stuff. It's straight forward and to the point. Oh, and playing isn't bad. I even like the way he sings. Ronnie is cool
Hearing Ronnie sing reminds me of the time in the mid 80s when my friend brought over a RW album. (I think it might have been 1 2 3 4) Anyway, I had 2 other friends who hated the Stones so I called them and invited them down to check out my new (unnamed) album. If they knew it was a Woody album they naturally would have automatically hated it or even refused to listen to it so after a couple doobs & drinks I asked them what they thought of what they had just heard. The album got a thumbs up after I told them it was the new release from Bob Dylan 😂😂😂 but changed after a second listen when I told them it was Ronnie Wood. It's still hilarious to this day!
Bravo Man !!
I just adore Ronnie What a fantastic player & a great vocal You have done some of the greatest guitar intros My favourite Stay With Me We’re all grown up now & PC to ever get songs like that on our radios But what a great time for rock music We’re left with only the smoking ember’s now
This is great. Ron sings his own style and plays really cool. I don’t understand all the irony. You try doing that when you are +70 any better than he did and then you may have a laugh or two.
@@vincewhirlwind1778 You said THAT RIGHT,VINCE,LOVE YOUR COMMENT,DUDE PROBABLY CAN'T EVEN PLAY ANYTHING,JUST SPOUTIN GARBAGE.TAKE CARE AND STAY WELL AND SAFE. Walter B.Memphis. 🎙🎸💾🎼👍🌟💯
Absolutely fantastic This man is a true hero and gentleman Ronnie Wood might be the most underrated artist on this planet, because he is always in Keith's shadow He might not have the best singing voice, but he is one of the best guitarists of all time And this is the reason he plays lead guitar in the best band on this planet
Ronnie is a real student. He gets the inherent language of guitar styles.I heard him do Robert Nighthawk note for note on slide, all the licks where spot on.This here is impeccable Chuck Berry style playing.Yay Ronnie !!!!!
Wow. Lovely to hear Ronnie sing. It also puts on display the remarkable songwriting skills of Chuck Berry. The enjoyment top-rate musicians feel playing his song is remarkable.
‘SING?’ I’m tone deaf but even I can recognise he has a dreadful voice. I like Imelda normally but here she just doesn’t come across as a ‘Rock chick’.
Love imelda and everything she does ,she sings Rock N Roll Music on the Album which is amazing but I think she should of sat this one out , no need for her backing vocals
@Ronnie Wood Wow, thanks for the reply. I was the "gopher" at The Plant and spent time driving you and at the Plant with you. You always treated me like one of your friends, not like some underling. You took me into the dupe room and played 1234 as you were running off a cassette copy. You asked if I liked it and you cared that I did. It was a privilege. Thanks.
Ronnie has always been a great Berry guitarist. Now that Chuck has passed, he carries on the tradition. I must say Ms. Imelda May was a fine pairing for this project.
I used to be a big Imelda fan and I've seen her live a few times, but I'd never pay to see her again as she has a history of cancelling gigs when better offers come up. She cancelled once to go on Graham Norton and then again at the last minute to sing at that absolute circus of a fight between McGregor and Mayweather. Imagine having bought tickets, arranged a babysitter and paid for a hotel room and travel just to have it cancelled at the last minute because the performer wants to sing somewhere more high profile.
Ron Wood feiert am 01.06.2020 seinen 73. Geburtstag. Bürgerlich: Ronald David "Ron" Wood, auch "Ronnie" Wood (geb. 01.
Great job by Ronnie, doing the greatest RocknRoll song of all time, "Johnny B. Goode.... even adding the solo from "Carol", THE two greatest songs from the Prince of RocknRoll.... Mr. Chuck Berry.🎸 Imelda sure looks different from when she was with Rockabilly Darryl Higham.
'I told you Ronnie wood could sing. The first time I ever seen Ronnie he was playing at a Faces Concert with Rod Stewart. And you could hear him singing. He could have made a singing Career for himself. If he would have worked on it, He sounded really good tobe 70 years old, you start losing your voice as you get older!!
