Watching my neighbors getting a new roof in a pretty good rain today. Its got multiple valleys and roofs with a 7/12 pitch. Safety harnesses not tied off. A lot of swearing in Spanish.
My contractor had my entire roof exposed only plywood, it rained in my home for over an hour. Also the ceiling in the kitchen collapsed paint bubbling on the walls. What should i do to make sure that everything is fixed checked, inspected ect?
A portion of my roof is being replaced all new decking has been installed and ice and water shield covers the entire decking in the problem area with peaks and valleys we've gotten a lot of rain and it's still Leaking inside my house how do I find the leak ???????? The whole area has been covered with ice and water shield how is the water getting in ?????? Please help me
I placed my synthetic underlayment on my roof of my shop, I notice I have two small leaks when it rained. The leaks are between the osb, were they meet up. I got my underlayment on before the rain started. I also used cap nails, since I knew shingles are not going on right away. Should I be concerned with the two leaks or when I shingle will this take care of the issue? Thanks for the video.
We have an ongoing installation and the roofer installed shingles on only half the pitch and it rained overnight almost certainly resulting in water between the underlayment and shingles. Any advice on what we should do?
@@rickbageard1147 Probably should have started from the beginning but the contractor said it would dry out since the shingles were still not sealed due to lack of heat. That was just one issue of many with the contractor.
