I like many others I would imagine first came across his version of Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing which blew me away. And then of course I went on to listen to his Mariah Carey covers and Celine Beyoncé etc all amazing and epic M BUT the range the runs the riffs and the emotion that I came across through his gospel music in his native language which I do not speak I am here in the US in Southern California that is the music where his voice truly touched my heart and soul and completely moved me.

His voice and the emotion he sings with truly moves me. I don’t believe any voice has moved me quite like his. And. I do have an appreciation for a wide variety of vocal artists but none compare to Gabriel. His talent is just remarkable.

Actually, when he sings Oceanos by himself it's much better than the duet he did with his friend Pedro. In the single version he adds more and whistles.
