I'm here in Australia with my 3 children - age 2, 4 and 6, and they are absolutely fascinated with this. Well done! It makes me proud to be a citizen of the world!
This sit eh best and most thoguht of and well made video ive seen on youtube in awhile it is a ground breaking video that i have watch 5 times in the past hour ..it brings a tear to my eye every time.. its beautiful
wow!! T_____T it's always so amazing how you guys can change the designs over and over again to create new masterpieces! I love the glowing lights that was really cool!
I don't see that anyone has done this yet, but to save others the trouble of Shazamming them, the songs are 00:00 - Stormy Cloud (by DJ Krush; on "Jaku") 00:18 - Ben (by Asa; "1,44 MBeat 1998-2000worksvol,1 +6track") 01:55 Fingers (by Joi; on "One and One is One") 02:36 In Dust We Trust (The Chemical Brothers; on "Exit Planet Dust") 03:13 Dragon Throws Out Pearl (Makana; on "Koi Au") (I couldn't find out if the last few seconds of the video, with the sort of haunted, angelic vocals was a released piece of music.) All but one of these is on Spotify. The second song/album is super tough to find just searching online, but it came up in the iTunes store for me by searching "1998-2000 works".
that was brilliant... absolutely brilliant. I love the last bit with the tree... gave me a few ideas for my next aparpment. 5/5 and a spot on my favorites list. Kudos!
This one is totally amazing. I really wonder how much time it took to put it altogether. I love stop motion photography and they did a great job of artistic work besides editing. Impressive!!!
this very very cool i wish i could do this this is just plan amazing how did u get the person on the ceiling? if i could choose one of these for my room i would pic 2:08 without the clay i like the softer look and the lotus looking things
That is so amazing and beautiful! They didn't really paint over their paintings everytime did they? I would hate to have worked hard on it and then paint over it in white
I enjoyed the temporal nature of each piece - watching the installations get built and taken apart gave a nice context of flow and change to what could have been just still images. Even though I liked the music I think a "silent reverence" might have worked also. No matter though - great work.
My critique; While this has been done before, it was still pretty interesting, and the music was awesome. However, in the future if you do anything like this again (or if you still have the clips); Maybe try making some of the action synch directly with the audio? I know you used the audio as a "mood" setter in most of the video, but I mean, if there's a bass beat, have a flower bloom, if there's a snare beat, have the clip speedup in a burst, etc.
beautiful..and they used chemical bros as part of their soundtrack among other excellent DJs I love their visual artistic ablities and their ear for good beats
