I wonder if you glued in the small angle pieces from the miter cuts into the inside edge of the table top if you would have a very sturdy console table, triangles are super strong and you probably just threw those pieces out so a win, win.

Ohm! Great job! Thank you for the inspiration to tackle my owners foyer! I’ve been looking for a console table and the prices are insane for something I kinda like. So I’m off to Home Depot! Thank you again 😘

May, the table turned out great! What kind of saw did you use to miter the corners? I have no training with woodworking, but I really think I can make this. The lumber store should miter the boards when they cut them, so maybe all I would have to do is glue and sand. I’m going to try this, I’m going to start searching your videos for more ideas! Thanks!!🙏🏻🙏🏻

If you would have mixed your sawdust and your wood glue and stuffed it as much as you can and then level it out using a puddy knife to flatten it out and then remove any excess by rubbing your fingers back and forth wait for it to dry and then manually lightly sand it down it would have looked like there was no gap at all.. but other than that I love your work
@maynunez

Love this! I did try it, but I stupidly dumped out the saw dust before noticing how much I needed.

Basic entryway table measurements! You can find them on google.🤗

That isn't a "waterfall" table. The way the legs are attached is called a miter. You're supposed to mix the sawdust with glue first, and then push it into the gaps. You can't lengthen a saw blade no matter what shape it is. You made it go deeper/changed the depth setting. The main reason your edges didn't line up is because you had your clamps on the same side when you glued the top together. If you put another clamp or two on the bottom it would counteract the bowing that you talked about. The top met the legs in the middle and not the front/back because the top was bowed. Keep trying, keep up the good work, learn from everything you do, have a good time. Cheers!

Great looking table. Good job. My only advice would be to reinforce the miter joint. Those joints are the strongest and just relying on the glue to hold is not the best. End grain glue joints are fairly weak. I do love the simplicity of the table. Great design.
