I got accepted at Keele and it was my first choice university and I am so excited to come. The campus is absolutely beautiful and scenic an has amazing facilities, sports facilities and student union. I would love to get a more in depth look at the class rooms and lecture halls.

So happy to find this as there's not much content for Keele! I've put the uni down as my firm choice and unfortunately wasn't able to go to check out the accommodation so thank you for doing this! Quick question though, what are the shared bathrooms and kitchen like? I've been having a look on the website and the kitchens look worryingly overcrowded in some halls. Is this the case? Or is it not as bad as I'm thinking?

Hey, Ashleigh some of the accommodations are quite packed but it depends what halls you pick. A shared flat is only four flatmates whereas they have other blocks with over 11+ people sharing. Then you have ensuite rooms as well 😊

Hi Ashleigh! I'm currently in a 6 bedroom shared flat with a shared bathroom. The bathroom has one shower, a bathtub, two toilets and two sinks. The kitchen is decently sized, we have a cupboard and drawer each, a table with 4 chairs, as well as a freezer and fridge. I got lucky in terms of space but I've got friends in bigger flats (10 people flats) and they have more showers and toilets but the kitchen is slightly smaller. Hope this helps :) Carla x

So great to see some Keele content! As an off-campus student who's returning to halls in September, we were really hoping to move into Horwood! Can't imagine being at another uni :D

living in that accomidation being all bricks around you in your room was it mentally draining? and how was it sharing a bathroom. weird questions ik but im just trying to decide if i should get a room with an ensuite or not

Hi! Full disclosure I’ve left keele by now. The bricks were fine, I made sure to hang up posters and pictures and really make it feel more like a room than a blank slate. You actually get used to it once you personalise your room. Also rooms have been renovated at Horwood after I filmed this video. I shared a bathroom the whole time I was at Keele, and it was okay, only once did we go without a shower for 1.5 days when our shower broke, but maintenance was really helpful and tried to get the issue as fast as possible. Other than that, you typically don’t really wait for a shower since everyone ends up on their own schedule and it’s rare for more than two people to have the same. Best of luck with uni!

horwood halls for litness.

Horwood is great for hall life and there are some decent flat parties from time to time if you're into that. It's also the closest to the SU and to chancellor's and a 10-minute walk from the majority if not all the of the buildings on campus (which is great if you're literally rushing out the door). Lindsey is also pretty good and also a very short walk to most buildings on campus. I don't know much about Barnes safe for the fact that its the most recently built accommodation on campus and that Holly Cross & Oaks is a bit further from everything but still on campus.

@@amytang6915 The accomodation page on the Keele website should have all the information! I only lived in shared flats but I know that some of Barnes and some of Lindsay had en-suites

This accomodation was with 6, in my second year was with 4, and this year I was with 8. On the accomodation website there should be a place where it details the number of people in a flat :)

Hi Holly! This is a shared flat in Horwood Halls It's not the most modern but its really cozy :) Carla x
