I believe "Room Tour Projects" as a name sounds a lot more unique then cool gaming setups but It is nice seeing you talk and explain and not just a slide show of photos. Hope all is well, and have a great one!
That 3rd setup was definitely my favorite, love the subtle and cozy vibe it has, I’ve never really been a big fan of RGB and in my opinion a lot of these setups go way overboard with it, nice to see these cleaner more sleek setups
Hey Frank, it's cool to see you doing it again no matter what the title. The difference between yours and the imitators' setup shows is that you're universally positive, as if you're as happy to see these as we are. I get how exhausting it must be to put this together with all the hundreds of possible contenders, glad you're still doing them. All your content is very well done but RTP/CGS will always be the greatest!
You guys would love Tech Source's RU-vid channel if you enjoyed this. He has a series called "Setup Wars" that is much higher production value and has 100's of episodes
Hey man cool new format. I appreciate that you found the whole RTP videos getting abit stale. But I honestly miss the usual format. With chilled out tune playing in the background and we just sit back and enjoy the beautiful setups. I normally just play the whole playlist on repeat as I'm doing work or house chores. But hey, whatever keeps you going man.
I personally liked the weekly room tour projects. I enjoyed the setups featured on them more than another setup YT'ers ones. if the monthly ones continue it would be nice to see a few more setups in there though kinda like the nice, different and clean ones submitted that month jammed into it, but I'm glad the series is continuing even if its different!
Kinda liked having your camera in the corner. I know this isn't your favorite series to do, but I click it every time. I like being able to see your reactions in addition to hearing them.
Doing best setups at end of the month is a great idea. Although I'm not liking the new name, but I'm certain it'll bring in more numbers cause of SEO. Keep up the good work!
I personally do Not Think that Room Tour Project was getting stale, I watched RTP Eps so fast once I got the Noti. It’s just an addictive Binge IMO Frank. This was good enough, but then again it’s the honeymoon phase with this newer format
Always look forward to this! Still never gets old for me! Edit: Really like this format. It feels natural and you come across enthusiastic. Honestly, i think when it comes to these, you have the cleanest presentation of them. Your unique style and format is very appealing and I enjoy it!
This episode was actually good. I know it’s been a little burning you out lately but I think you’re close to something great. I really need tips on my setup and things I’m missing. Wondering if you should do a setup feedback and tips video from user submission (setups that aren’t already amazing) could be fun
cool setups surprised phaser did not go with RGB ram/strimmer cables. that black & white build is a beauty! I want dual 27" curved monitors with a third vertical monitor too and a better GPU than my 1050TI SSC
@@PhazerOnest killer! I could not get the strimmer to work in my build. I think the newer hub I got will accept the 4 and 3 pin connects since both on my MB are being used my strips/fans your build still looks great either way!
Just subscribed, your channel is sick! I have been working from home since 2019 and am finally ready to invest in creating a great space. I am going to copy Stefans setup as closely as possible - I cant wait!
Frank, your skills on videos are top notch. But I hope you keep doing things you genuinely enjoy. Whether that be more reviews, or just personal projects, I think the real fans will appreciate whatever video that you put out. Don't need to necessarily keep putting out 'Room Tour/Gaming Setup' videos as you have mentioned it gets boring after a while and anyone can understand that. Put the focus on what you enjoy :)
Which monitor riser / shelf are you running? This looks different than the typical Grovemade shelf, which I can’t use due to the placement of the feet and my desk’s grommets. But these feet are closer to the center and would work for me. Thanks, bro.
Nahh I personally think that Room Tour Project sounds more unique and it'll always associate with you, my bro! Regardless, thank you for this and keep it coming. Cheers!
The keyboard rabbit hole is real lol I spent far too much on keyboards this year. I had to get rid of most of them due to moving and I didn't want the temptation of keyboard modding so now I just use my Anne pro 2 stock. I did catch myself scrolling through the keyboards and all that on Amazon the other day.
See I enjoyed your editing with the music in the background. Don't get me wrong, still get it with this, editing I mean, but when someone is on the screen I wanna focus more on them than what is going on. Still happy to see the RTP though!
Yo frank , love your channel and i’ve been following you since ep 100 of RTP I don’t think the concept of Room Tour Project /Cool Gaming setups in itself is the problem but i do think it could use some ameliorations : 1. You could make it more personal , create a deeper bond with your community in a way by presenting a bit the owners of the setup and their personalities 2. I do think the episodes should be shorter , a 10 minutes format grand max 3. I think you should also get your participants to send you videos of their setup , it would make the video feel more alive and less like a photo slide show 4. Also you should go for less facecam and more off cam voice over if you choose to use more videos and movement, it would make the video more comfortable to watch Hoping you give these ideas a try bro
Gracias hermano, estas sugerencias de setup están muy padres, me dan más ideas para armar el mío. Saludos y te reconozco tu contribución, muchas muchas gracias. Bye
I’ll send my setup when I feel it’s ready to be Sent. I mean I could RN if I wanted to buy there’s a few things missing that i can’t quite figure out just yet
I know this is inspired by tech soirces setup wars but I think this is better because tech sources puts in budget and undewhelming setups while here its most of teh time crazy and insane setups
Good evening randonfrankp, I'm looking to buy a mousepad and a feet, to play csgo and valorant, I'm thinking about buying an Artizan zero because of the stopping Power and a Pulsar Superglides because of the small initial friction. Do you have any other recommendations for mousepads and feet for csgo and valorant players? (My mouse g pro superlight)
If you’re looking for some constructive criticism, your green screen action looks flawless…but it’s quite distracting having your hands and head moving on top of the setup video. Keep up the good work!
The facecam reaction without the editing(i.e. the specs and transitions) gives the video a less professional look imo. However, I love that you are trying something new, just gotta try different styles until you find one you like. Good luck and have fun with it. Also, I’d like to mention compared to how it looks after editing compared to now, we can see you reading out what we are looking out, but you aren’t looking at us so it feels less interactive if that makes sense. Hopefully what I am saying makes sense to you, I don’t mean to offend, just trying to help out.
i'd love to submit my setup sometime. but i cannot be bothered to really clean it to society's acceptable state of having a basically empty desk.. i got ram sticks. safety glasses. phones. and what not all over my desk
That's how mine is 90% of the time, right now there is an extra tower, misc PC parts, tools, fans, cameras, tripods and all kinds of stuff everywhere lol
No offense at all to you Frank, but I think the video could be better without the face cam, it kinda blocks some detail in the pictures and its a bit distracting. I'm liking the pivot to monthly Cool setups, especially if it helps it feel like fresher content for you!
