@@leeschnoor3782 Maid of the mist is on the US side of the Niagara falls. If you’re staying in Embassy suites, you should take the Horn blower it’s the Canadian boat ride same as maid of the mist. It’s only a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Now, if you really want to take the maid of the mist, you can cross the border by foot over the rainbow bridge. Here is my detailed video on crossing the bridge, check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qDtaQmSHeI4.html
You can't get any better then this video showing you everything you need to know about hotels/restaurants and parking. I visited Niagara Falls many times and I just learned many of her very helpful advice. Thank you.
I find Niagara Falls so fascinating!! Not only is it a tourist spot for TWO countries, but there is so much to do there! Like the Cave Of The Winds!! And of course, the super fashionable rain coats 😆
My wife and I haven’t been to Niagara Falls since the 1990’s. Now we’re planning on going up there once again this time where taking our daughter’s on there first trip to Niagara Falls! This summer! We’re still looking for motel . We’re looking for a two bedroom! Thank you so much for sharing this vedio.
#1 Tip for Canadian side of the falls. DO NOT pay the tourist tax. It is included on almost every bill you will pay from hotel to restaurants. You can politely ask them to remove it. (haven't been to the falls in a few years and not 100% of if they still pull this BS, but if they do it will be a different tax on the bottom of your receipt...not a sales tax, not gst or built in mandatory tip but an actual tourist tax that you have ZERO obligation to pay)
Thanks for the insights. This room "2 Queen Beds with Sofa Bed and view of Niagara Falls & American Falls - Floor 40" was listed in Expedia for a cheaper price but the photos looked different when compared to the ones on the Embassy suites website. booked the one on the Hotel website to avoid any risk. Can't wait to enjoy the views and the fireworks!
@@thasneen Here is the view from 41st Floor of Embassy Suites. It was such a surreal experience! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7_WdUfc1shI.html
Thank you for the hotel tip, I cancelled mariott fallsview and booked embassy suite canadian/us falls view booking says 10-15 floors no more high floors, hopefully this will be high enough and thank you for the tip on parking at the casino
To get free wifi & a few other benefits at Embassy suites, become a member of Hilton Honors, it's free to join, check this link: www.hilton.com/en/hilton-honors/member-benefits/ Also, I've shared how to take great pictures in the room with the falls view, check out this video @ 4:06: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9gZ3v9vo4iA.html Enjoy your Niagara vacation :)
Great Great informative video. You are amazing! Thank you for finding all these things for us. I'm planning on going to Niagara Falls and you made it easier on me. Thank you thank you thank you
There is taste but who doesn't have the ability, so I got a little taste after watching your video. Thank you very much and thank you very much. Be well and be healthy.
Thank you. At Oakes, fallsview 1 King Jaccuzi at 19th floor. Pick the fallsview, you might not be able to select the floor booking online, so it’s good to call them & make the reservation to get the top floors & fallsview rooms. Have a great vacation!
@@thasneenI looked at the Oakes after your video, but its reviews don’t seem very good. You mention the view but don’t say if the hotel itself is good?
always love to see different angles of the falls. Having grown up around there (Tonawanda) and now Montana, I would have liked to see my favorite spot and that's Goat island to see the proximity or relationship from the American to the Canadian falls. Great work, and thanx! By the way, did you complain about the dirty windows?
Disagree with not having the Hilton Hotel as an option. I have been to both Marriott's, Embassy Suites, and the Hilton. By far one of the best views of the Falls. With the parking at the Casino, you can simply take the walkway over to the Hilton. We have a Teenage Boy and the Hilton offers a two room suite, which is ideal. Restaurant choice is interesting. The Keg is everywhere. Try new options. My Cousin Vinny's. Corso. Reds Steakhouse at the Casino. For breakfast Perkins is 100 times better than IHOP. We go 2-3 times a year. Just spent 2 nights at the Hilton and ate at My Cousin Vinny's and the Skylon Tower. This is your best view of the Falls when dining and for the fireworks at 10:00 pm.
I park at the Fallsview casino parking, $15 for the week & $35 for the weekend. It’s good to ask the hotel about their parking facilities & rate. Have a great vacation, you’re gonna have a fab time.
Very informative video. Thank you. I had a few questions about Niagara Falls. Where is the nearest airport to Niagara Falls? If you are flying from New York how do you reach the Canadian side of the falls without going through the walk in border? “How far “approximately are the hotels located from the falls, like walking distance? How far is Clifton hills located from the hotels?, approximate walking distance? Is there a day pass covering transports within Niagara which you are aware of? As we cannot walk so much everywhere so we need to find some form of transport from point to point and we do t know how to drive as we are coming from a right hand side driving country and don’t want to risk driving left hand.is the area open 24/7 or do the close early for example, fast food restaurants in the food courts located in the casino and Clifton hills do they close early in the night? Is there a vibrant night life at Niagara after 9 or 10 pm if you are aware of? The video didn’t cover these so just wanted to get your take,on it if someone is flying from New York and wants to stay at the Canadian side first and then walk over to the US side, to experience both the sides what is your take on the travel route, how should one cover it? Keeping in mind we would have luggage’s as we are planning a 15 day US trip covering New York, Ithaca and Niagara Falls. We are going to visit our son studying at Ithaca so he would join us as well at the Canadian side. We want to save time so we prefer to fly all the points of interest. Just cannot figure out how to cover Niagara with our itenary as we can only fly into New York first from overseas nd then take a connecting flight but it only shows up to Buffalo on the US side no then again it’s an hours journey to the US falls from there so is there a shorter route to reach the Canadian side from New York which you might be aware of, please do share. Thank you and really liked the way you covered all the views from major hotels, very informative and well appreciated….🙏🙏🙏🙏
The most convenient option might be flying into Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) in Buffalo, New York. From there, you can easily cross the border into Canada by road (approximately a 30-minute drive) or by taking a shuttle service. There are rental car services available at the airport, or you could opt for a pre-arranged shuttle service that will take you directly to your hotel on the Canadian side. All the hotels on the Canadian side are walking distance from the falls, so is the Clifton hill, a few minutes walk away. In fact, all the attractions I've mentioned in this video are close by. There are shuttles available inside the Niagara park, you can hop on that & cover the entire the park. In Summer, everything is open pretty late & the night life on the Canadian side is absolutely vibrant & lively please note this is only in Summer: June till September. If you want to cover both US & CA: I would highly recommend you stay at a hotel on the Canadian side (leave the luggages in the hotel), you can walk over to the US side over the rainbow bridge- have to go through immigration- it's only a 15 minutes walk to get to the US side- it's a beautiful experience. I truly hope you have a great vacation, you're gonna fall in love with the majestic Niagara Falls :) Do watch this video, Crossing the US Canada BORDER on foot | Everything you need to know: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qDtaQmSHeI4.html You might also find this video helpful, Top 35 Things To Do in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada | Attractions You Can't Miss | Best Deals!: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rHQdXBmOQyA.html Enjoy :)
Hi Thas, I am a new subscriber of your channel because of this clip, thanks very much for making this clip of us to see. I m planning to go to Niagara Falls in August to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. Your video gave me a lot info, that i m looking for 😊 BTW please advise if we need to rent a car if we plan to stay around 4 nights at Embassy Suite and which airport is the nearest one to this hotel. Thanks for your time for doing this video for us 🙏😊
Thanks for subbing! Glad you liked this video. If you’re planning to hang out in Niagara you don’t not have to rent a car; all attractions are pretty close to Embassy hotel. Hamilton airport is close to Niagara (an hour long drive) & the next one is Toronto Pearson airport. Have a great vacation!
@@thasneen Thanks for your reply, can i ask one more question., is there any transportation from airport to the hotel ? I was trying to look for it but i could not find any shuttle bus.
Check out this article, has all the details: everywhereontario.com/how-to-get-from-toronto-airport-to-niagara-falls/#:~:text=There%20is%20no%20direct%20public,and%203%20every%202%20hours.
Horseshoe falls view & panaromic views of the 3 falls only on the Canadian Side. US side view, here is the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qDtaQmSHeI4.html
You need to fix your parking segment. Parking at the casino, prices change all the time and putting 20 dollars in a slot machine does not give you free parking. It’s all based on the rate of play
Too bad I can not cross the Canadian boarder behind illegal political matters press against me that should not have been used against me from clandestine agreement political science wise
Of all the videos I have watched about Niagara Falls this has been the best one to answer the questions I had about best hotel to stay at for view of the falls, where to park and where to eat. thank you for posting this video.
Wonderful informative video. How far in advance do you need to book the hotel and boat tour? And are reservations required at the nice steak restaurants?
In Summer, good to book the hotels at least 2 weeks in advance. Boat tour advance booking not required, can be booked the previous day. Restaurants good to make the reservation for better seating, overlooking the falls. Enjoy your trip!
Very informative video. Answers all the questions one would have visiting for the first time. Thanks for taking the time to make this. I am planning to visit in June 2nd week. Was wondering if it will be too cold. Thanks much!!
Ottawa Region could do the exact same thing with its Fleet Street water turbine pumping station in downtown Ottawa. It's still a working pumping station for Parliament hill and downtown. But just as cool 1800's cyber punk looking technology powered by the force of falling water. Instead of electricity generation it spins huge cast pumps that supply drinking water around town.
i have watched quite a few videos on this hotel. your video is the most comprehensive and detail video by far.👍👍👍. so i will book this hotel. i check the keg menu, it has no price printed on it !!!! if you don't mind asking, what is the price range there ??? btw, we will be visiting niagra falls in early april. love from alberta.
At Oakes, fallsview 1 King Jaccuzi at 19th floor. Pick the fallsview, you might not be able to select the floor booking online, so it’s good to call them & make the reservation for top floors & fallsview rooms. Have a great vacation!
Super cool video. I want to visit for my birthday which is 1st week of november. Never been but everyone is saying its terribly cold there in november. Id like to visit this summer but geez its super expensive some of these hotels. Hopefully visiting in november would be a little more affordable.
YOU ARE THE BEST. Thank you so, much for such a detailed information. You literally helped me with 75% of my canada trip which is next week. God bless you.
Very helpful video! We just booked for the end of this month. I know you mentioned summer is the best time to visit but have you ever visited around this time? I glanced at the weather there and it’s supposed to be in the 60’s. Hopefully it’s not too cold for us to enjoy some outdoor activities.🤞🏻🙃
I’ve visited a few times in May, it’s beautiful towards the end of May most days will be in 60 F weather so will be moderately warm. Do carry a raincoat or umbrella in case it rains. Horn blower/maid of the mist boat cruise schedule in May only for Fri, Sat, Sun & Monday, do check the website. You’re gonna have a fabulous time, enjoy your vacation & the breathtaking Niagara Falls ☺️
Im so glad I stumbled across your channel, I wanted to book a falls view room but the parking fees where putting me off. $40 a night and you park it yourself. I was told the lot is far away as well. Now that I know that I can park at the casino and don't have to pay until I leave I’m definitely gonna book a Fallsview room. Your awesome thank-you so much !!
Thank you for the great video. The best way to photograph the falls from the room is if you turn off the lights in the room then you won't have the reflection. We stay at the Fallsview Casino Resort and the view is spectacular.
Amazing video.I also love Embassy Suites and their Keg Steakhouse restaurant. The views are wonderful. Thank you for the tips on best view. They have some great deals if you call direct to the hotel.
Is this motel you found have a two bedroom? My wife and I are taking our two daughters for there first trip? My wife and I haven’t heed to Niagara since the 1990’s
This was a wonderful, informative, beautiful video. So much great information and your voice is so southing 🥰 I’m going to save it for future reference. I just told my hubby that I want to go to Niagara Falls-haha.
A very helpful video. This upcoming US Thanksgiving week, we are going for our second trip to the Falls, and will put some of your great advice to use. We are travelling with our fur baby 🐕🦺, so the Radisson was the closest hotel to the Falls that we could get…..the room we booked for the upcoming trip supposedly has “Falls View”, but we’ll see. Thanks again for the vid, and such a charming accent!
The hotel room comparisons in this video are very helpful! Thanks also for sharing some of what is available at Keg Restaurant in particular! Very informative video!
Very nice video! Support here from [ Randy and May's Lifestyle ] channel. We just had an adventure in Niagara Falls and put up videos of our journey. Watching this brings back those memories we created just over a month ago. Keep up the great work!!!!!!
Thank you, so much for all the tips!! Finally, someone made a useful video that is beneficial to everyone 👏🏽👏🏽 your video by far is the best one. Cheers. Questions: I am taking the Go-Train/Bus to Niagara Falls, do you know if there is a local transit from the Niagara bus depot to the Falls?
@@thasneen Thank you, much appreciated. You are the best!!🤗 BTW, because of your video...I just made reservations at the Embassy, but with the Canadian Fallsview (per budget). I'm so excited 😊 ..we are going at the end of August. Hopefully, Go-Transit do not strike before then🙏🏽
If you want a breathtaking view of the falls like the one in the video, the rooms at the Crowne Plaza Hotel will not offer the closest vantage point. However, the hotel is pretty good.
Absolutely you can park overnight, parking rate is based on the day you exit- if you park on a weekend & exit on a weekday you've to pay the weekday rate. Enjoy your vacation :)
This was a great video. I'm from Niagara Falls and have never stayed at any of the hotels, We might need to now! I never thought of the parking hack at the casino when staying at the close hotels. The casino has different rewards now and it's harder to get the free parking now
More things to see and do on the Canadian side. Like a small Times Square and small Coney Island. The neighborhoods surrounding the falls on both sides don’t appear to be very safe. Reminds me a lot of Atlantic City. Seems that all the proceeds line the politicians pockets and nothing goes to the community (and I’m sure they were promised the exact opposite). I would suggest bringing your own food or keep it simple (hamburgers/hot dogs). All the restaurants and buffets advertise “authentic home cooking”. There is nothing authentic about the food on either side of the border. These are all tourist spots. Wife and I visited “mama mias “ Italian restaurant. We would swear it was Costco’s frozen meatballs and chicken cutlets. Reminded us of Venice. City was amazing. Food was not so great and it doesn’t have to be because they know you’re here today gone tomorrow.
am am asian senior citizen planning to travel to canada niagara falls and please advise how to book hornblower online ticket at a cheapest rate please. thank you
