We are group for 4 scientists from ISRO, solo trekkers and friends from college. This may we visited roopkund with GoPro Hero5 and shot this documentry. The 4 days trek was awsome and the natural landscapes were mesmerizing.

Is drinkable water available along the trail? Thanks for the video!

Yes, there are local shops along the trail and streams for refilling water till bhagwabasa. We had to 2L water for each of us in our bagpack and that was sufficient till we reach the next shop. From last bhagwabasa to roopkund and back, there is no source of water. Thanks

_live_for_adventure_ At what time did you start ascending to Roopkund? What is the condition of the trail to Junargali? I want to do this trek solo in the first week of June.

We started from patar nachuni around 4.30 in morning. Before 10, we were at roopkund. Trail to junargali is completely dependent on fog but its not very far and can be completed easily if visibility is there. And ropkund trek is very straight and should be attempted solo. Infact, we 4 people did not go via any trekking company. We would be happy to share our itenarary and any other informations. In our video, you can find the complete trail till roopkund. _live_for_adventure_ last question! How much and what food did you carry? Are there many tea stalls along the trail? I just weighed my rucksack and with food, gas canisters it's about 22kg.
