One chink of light in the morning and off they go. Saying this is my place @@deitay It's not easy on the neighbours. So many now international breeds were backyard bred in New York !
You should have seen my old rooster, my mom gave him away before he got fully grown and he was like this rooster but bigger and have the coolest golden spots
My rooster and hen were like that too but sadly my rooster passed away 2 years a ago and ever since the hen would go and stand next to his grave the entire day since we showed her when we burried him. Till this day she doesn't allow any other rooster to come near her.
He was sent to you for a reason and he's just a little sweetheart for a rooster. He's a handsome fella and I'm glad he has his girlfriend and they have offspring. His little crow was absolutely adorable 🥰🥰
Apparently it's really common for roosters to have like a main favorite hen that they develop an especially close bond with and give preferential treatment. They're hardly monogomous and they'll keep a whole flock of hens and their juveniles, but I guess all the others just end up being sidechicks (pun not intended).
Roosters are actually gentlemen, but due to poor breeding of genes within domestic chicken farms and poor social or disrupted docial structures saw roosters becoming agressive and grapey. We had a rooster and he treated all the girls like queens. Was wierd to hear and see roosters on the internet being so horrible.
What a lucky guy. First he happens upon a couple with big hearts. Next they buy him a family! Then he finds the love of his life in those babies!! Boy he's living the life!
Birds are the most beautiful creatures in the animal kingdom. From pink, to blue, to neons, this animal is incomparable when it comes to nature’s beautiful art.
Roosters are far more beautiful than the females! We have a huge Lavender Orpington male with the most beautiful red crown, you have ever seen. The male colors are always far prettier.
This isn't always true, when a bird is this friendly to humans, means they was likely raised up from a chick by a human. Large breeds even one's with temperaments can be friendly towards humans if raised from a chick. I used to have an Old English Speckle bantam rooster and hen, they'd run if I tried to pick them up, but he was very, VERY aggressive towards other roosters and would send even big ones on the run. I also as a kid had a bantam that would flog my neighbor, cause he did not like him. I have a bantam currently that will try and flog you if you point at him and move your finger up and down for a minute, he also doesn't like my brother and has flogged his leg. Many bantams are more predisposed to being nice, but they have to have been handled a lot from a young age and if you raise babies and interact with them from an young age most any breed will be fairly tame. Also to bare in mind, Bantam roosters tend to have very sharp spikes, so you don't want to instantly try and touch one till you get an idea of how it is towards strangers, they can be very protective and even tame friendly bantams can decide you are a threat to their flock (this can include the human owner) and will spur you.
@@TimeSurfer206 for most part don't pick up any hens chicks xD. Though if you can gain the trust of the hen, they may let you touch them and will just make a noise letting you know they don't like what you are doing, you normally have to raise them yourself and have interacted with them enough as a baby though.
You know I always wondered how all those animals got along on Noah's Ark then I read or heard that God picked the good natured animals and that makes sense because like people some are good natured and some are mean.😊,
@@merk9569All I found on him was he is possibly a type of Vietnamese bantam type rooster. But I just took a screen shot and used Google. I thought he might be a bantam as they are small roosters and often very pretty.
I am so very grateful you rescued a little Dutch bantam rooster that surely would have died a miserable death, and provided him a beautiful life. God bless you!
But that rooster probably just got lost - how high are the chances of a rooster wandering around and not belonging to a farm? Especially a male… Would have asked around whether there was an old couple with a house and yard that was possibly missing a member. Not saying he got it bad now, though. They do take great care of him.
@@HSK.Lerner a rooster won’t wonder if he already has a flock it seems that someone probably just had him already and he just wandered off because he didn’t really feel at home
@@HSK.Lerner Depends where you're at. 2020 I had an opportunity to go to the Virgin Islands. Was surprised to discover that while here we have squirrels and feral cats, they have iguanas and feral chickens. Was really odd to me to say the least 😂
I must have his twin brother in my pasture. Last year I found him staring at my 3 hens through the fence. I let him in and have no idea where he came from. He's got the life. He's got food, free range and 3 females. I envy that rooster.
You're a GOOD human! IF reincarnation is a thing, perhaps you'll be rewarded by being a rooster (or other species) with a human as wonderful as you, along with your own family and security where you fit and belong 😉😁 I'd love it too, tbh 😏
@@amberstamp1965 I know, I love happy endings and this one tops the charts (but I love all animals so I may not be the one to ask) Happy family all around, yeah!!!!
"He just jumped in".❤❤❤😄 He Is beautiful, isn't he? I'm so Happy that you found him a soulmate. ❤❤❤ ❤❤The world could certainly use more people like you❤❤
