Once upon a time, Burnie bet Geoff he couldn't get 10k gamerscore in a week. They made a podcast about it, and named it something not sponsor friendly for the first hundred epsisodes. The rest was history. Can't say I'm a fan in recent history, but i grew up watching the golden years and can't be more grateful.

Yeah, I just saw that they were shutting down today. That was my wake up news actually and I cried even though I haven’t really watched them for years. I still listen to red Webb podcast, but that’s about it.

@@cantprocess Realistically Gus walked in after the seats were taken, and didn't want to ask anyone to give up their seat because he's not that kind of guy. One of the 20 somethings should have given up their seat, pretty plain and simple lol. Nothing boomer mentality about it, just have some respect and understanding that the old guy who has delt with hemorrhoids from sitting on hard surfaces shouldn't be left on the floor lmao.

Monty Oum is the reason I'm as into 3D art nowadays as I was in highschool. RIP. I will miss rooster teeth. Fails of the Week, RWBY, RvB.. gah.. it hurts. I’ll miss this company dearly, Achievement Hunter made alot of memories for me with my buddies during middle/high school during the glory of Xbox 360 days and all the shows they made were so good imo. Hope to see all those in RT go to better things in life.

I didn't find Rooster Teeth until 2012 but being a part of this community for the last 12 years has been such an amazing experience. Thank you to all of the incredible people who have contributed to this company. My only wish is that they had done a "my favorite memory of Rooster Teeth is" where people could share what they consider their most memorable experiences in the company.

Even with them being unprofitable I can’t imagine the sale price would be affordable for even the largest of RU-vidrs. Not just because of all of their intellectual property but WBD just simply wouldn’t care about making a transaction that small. They make $40 billion a year so even $10 million wouldn’t be worth all the paperwork and hassle, easier to just hold onto it. I could maybe see someone at adult swim wanting to keep RWBY since they’ve been producing anime lately.

It was one hell of a run. Crazy to see how much a small idea became 21 years of some of the greatest content the internet ever produced even though it may have started going down hill a couple years since everything with WBD happened. I'm Laugh/Crying watching this video! Love everything! Even though I stopped watching early last year, this(and the previous stream) is bringing back all of the nostalgia and love I had for everything RT! Honestly, I regret that I stopped watching.
