The AH crew (and guests) finish off the night with Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody on Rock Band, and Michael's guitar controller loses connection for the last time. Recorded on February 20th, 2015 at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas.
***** They addressed it briefly in the Open Haus video they posted today with Freddie Wong, and Lawrence said he is just clumsy. I'm guessing alcohol may have also been somewhat of a contributing factor.
This is incredible! Thanks for uploading such a good recording. It looks like it was a blast. I wanted desperately to go, but flights from England cost a fortune. Did you manage to catch anything else?
This ending had everything we love about these guys... Fun gameplay, Millie/Gavi's cuteness, Ray's random screams, our new Funhaus family, hilariously-timed technical difficulties, Michael's rage, Geoff drunkenness, and everyone's generally love for each other. These guys are the best and I'm proud to be part of this community! :)
+Harold Davidson I remember a Reddit AMA where Geoff described Gavin as the little brother he always wanted but his mom never gave him, I think he also fills the role of big brother to Millie, I mean from everything we know she isn't afraid to give Gavi crap. I loved this video and they truly are a family and it shows in videos like this one.
lindsay: THATS MY HUSBANDDDDDD - my favourite moment, such a great experience i wish i was a part of, glad that so many people got to see this and that achievement hunter were able to do it so well!
They talked about it on Off Topic #72, Geoff did fall just because he was ridiculously drunk, but Lawrence fell because someone had a bet that he would fall just because of his own clumsiness and he wanted to help them out :)
From what I see, I truly understand now if they don't want to livestream these. This looks like it just belongs to those who want to see it live; this is a true live experience and seeing it on stream would not give justice nor would the whiners in RU-vid community for example deserve it. And yeah, sucks for me in Finland, but this just seems the kind of show you have to go to.
Man, Ray and Michael are really the life of the party. They should really do more Lets Plays together.... On the other hand.. FUCK I missed it. Who would've guessed I broke my legs falling of a roof cleaning snow and couldn't go.
Let's Play - European Tour I'd fucking strongly consider flying to another country in Europe to see one of these shows. If by chance they came to my own, I would get the tickets instantly.
Nah, Lawrence posted on twitter that james had a bet with someone, that sometime turning the show Lawrence would fall. Lawrence wanted him to win the bet so he just did a prat fall.
Listen, I need to know that I'm not the only one who cried while watching this? Like the fans singing and them singing and Millie singing. It's all just so beautifully overwhelming.
Funhaus team looked so fuckin drunk :D especially Adam.. And so did Geoff :D Michael trying to break the guitar was epic. Too bad it was one time experience for those who live in USA only..
At the event they had a few cameras and sound guys floating around so they might release something RT life related if nothing else. I remember seeing Geoff before the show being followed around by one.
You have to be there to experience it. People who gave their money got a great "Let's Play" experience that can't be replicated by watching a video. This event was for them, and the large majority of it will stay with them.
happybunnyntx The camera guys were probably just there to stream to the big screens on stage so that people sitting farther away can see what's going on.
After 6 years of being an AH fan, I had finally saved up enough to go see them live this year; then all this Rona shit happened. I can't wait for it all to be over so I can finally see my heroes live. 🖤
It' makes me happy to see Geoff kinda just sitting back and kinda just taking it all it, must have been a really proud moment to see where the little thing he started years ago got too. Super cool!
i think he had his leg locked. it most likely gave out due to no blood being able to flow, but he had his other leg unlocked so it wasn't that tree falling effect a lot of people have from locking both knees. must happen enough to where he was just like, "Dammit. Not again." especially since the dude talking to him said something along the lines of, "Come on. Really?" or something like that. sorry for a comment a month later, but in case you never had any closure to the question, figured I'd give my opinion since I've dealt with similar stuff back in ROTC.
looks like the guy lawrence is talking to was gesturing to geoff, probably saying he fell right then, maybe lawrence just did it to bring attention away from geoff
Why can't I live in Texas.... :,( Oh well, it seemed like a lot of people went and the event was successful so hopefully they'll do a tour and be closer to my city next time :) I hope everyone who went had an amazing time!!!!
This how I think rays time at AH will be remembered, he screams randomly, then when Michael smashes his guitar, Ray just tosses it forward like he can't compete with it (I guess that's the only way I can describe it) gives it a second look like "fuck it, I'm going all out" and curbstomps it
Ohmygod Ryan on his little piano guitar and Jack in the drums and Michael smashing the guitar omg this looked so amazing. Then the funhaus crew Adam kissing Geoff omg. Wish I couldve been there.
The way Geoff gracefully falls out of sight is amazing. What makes it even more amazing is Lawrence falling on his glasses for apparently no reason. So much going on here.
I like how you can automatically know which track Ray is on: the one on the hardest difficulty and every time a note is missed you hear him say fuck.... So it has to be him.
