It wasn’t just one moment, he went off for 30+ minutes between every war attack (and in some cases during). He wasn’t just expressing support for max, he constantly called out Fluxxy for “kicking max”, a poor hitrate, he challenged him to come on the stream and “explain himself”. Um hello? I’m not a Fluxxy fan but he’s not required to answer to Eric in any way shape or form. He was also the one who communicated the message. We have no knowledge about what conversations happened with the team, esport org or Supercell itself. So to continually call someone out, say he should be cancelled at least 30x, challenging him to come on stream, that’s bullying. He’s responsible to conduct himself according to sc code of conduct. since he didn’t he was suspended from the paying content creator program.

fair point. But the fact that VM (and the chosen spoke person Fluxxy) refused to elaborate any further than delivering the news made Fluxxy the only person to be the target. If any inner workings cannot be known by the public, he should have said that. (Very similar to how the community manager of COC would deliver news, answer questions on community forums, and most importantly, explicitly say if any information cannot be disclosed)

It was all in regards to the actual action, which from all the information available at the time, info that came from fluxxy, was unjustified. With the lack of info at the time, there was justification for calling out fluxxy for kicking max, the hitrate comments are just facts, there is nothing wrong about calling out fluxxy to explain. And canceling someone in todays world is such a weak argument, the term is used so freely.

@@TJYfan32 Having or not having information doesn’t excuse the fact he went on a personal attack against an individual, on his stream, for 30+ minutes (and i watched the first hour for the record). after the 38 minute mark his tone moderated and he expressed support and sympathy for max without personally attacking anyone. It’s th4 fact he decided to personally attack an individual. and if you all know anything about esports they are teams, and organizations with contracts etc. All we knew at the time was that Fluxxy was the spokesperson who communicated a team decision to Max. Go into attack mode against VM if you are upset, yes. but a singular individual? that’s where it tips over to bullying and violation of the creators code of conduct that they all sign. Curious if now that everyone has more “information” with the vm statement issued. does that suddenly change the fact there was 30 minutes bullying happening? re personal attacks, repeatedly calling for someone to be cancelled, demanding they appear and explain themselves, comparing hit rates and demeaning someone on their performance isn’t personal attacks? Again, be angry at the organisation, slam VM all you want. Going after a singular person is where the trouble came in for Eric.

@@kitatemenanaja. To summarize, VM legacy kicked out a member named Max in order to make room for a new recruit. Max helped win this team a golden ticket to the world championships later this year. This, understandably, got a lot of people upset. Eric earlier today spoke up about the treatment of this player on his stream and called out VM legacy for it, and now this is the current situation he's in because of it.
