Rooted truth is a short documentary on SAI sanctuary. A private model sanctuary created by Anil and Pameela. The passionate couple have a great message on how a small group can make tremendous impact on nature conservation. Sai sanctuary located at the heart of western ghats now spread across 300 acres and hosts a variety of wild species including some of the critically endangered species . Save Animal Initiative probably is the first private wildlife sanctuary in India and a living exemplary model of conservation that private individuals and entities can follow to save our depleting natural environments.

Had the privilege of spending 2 days @ Sai Sanctuary few years ago. Could meet Mr. Malhotra and hear him talk so passionately about his venture and its contribution to the ecosystem at large. Mrs. Malhotra was busy with her book at that time so couldn't meet her. What they both have done to the world is unparalleled. Its unfortunate that Mr. Malhotra left us and his soulmate few years ago. I pray to god to give Mrs. Malhotra and Sai Sanctuary long life. God bless them all.!

An excellent work with the sanctuary. I adore your dedication towards the well being of the wildlife and forests. I think, the cause of deforestation is the increased demand for resources and only controlling the increase in human reproduction/population can save us all from this consumerism and alarming increase in consumption of natural resources. I think this is the base of almost all problems we are facing now.
