I wondered if a few colors weren’t selling. I bought the Cake Batter Blonde when ws1 had a sale 50% off. I chose Seine in and I couldn’t find hardly any reviews of this wig. If a customer likes long, lush hair for a night out perhaps, or for everyday, it’s a great one to buy. I absolutely love Seine! I know you prefer ones above the collar and pixies, but it is perfect for updo potential! Enjoy your day, Taz!
I used my hands to move feather the hair away from my face, so perhaps that is why it looks "flip"? You may actually enjoy Flip The Script by Raquel Welch.. love these retro looks! XOXO
Hi Rhonda! I confirmed directly with Belle Tress…these two colors are indeed discontinued. I pinned a comment as well. (Sigh) I guess nothing surprises me anymore. The list of Belle Tress styles and colors being discontinued gives me whiplash! 😂🥰
I prefer non-rooted, WHEN the color is very dimensional. It gives that salon fresh look of a woman who takes care of herself. I wish there would be far less width of the actual rooting, as no one with highlights goes that far (on biohair) between touch-ups! That's why you go for a "Framing" of foils around the face, Quarter Head" of foils, imagine the area of temple-to temple perimeter to crown. Then ,"Half Head," usually highs and lows... Don't forget the base color as needed, concealed greys, or a different root color altogether. I think the rooting may provide some confidence for the wig wearers, especially if she never was a blonde with colored hair or, in some cases, a redhead! Truly, the blondes rooting that are more BLENDED look the most natural. In Europe, the colorists have been showing a less conspicuous SHADOW ROOT on women who like it, and more popularly, thank Go.d that Covid's pandemic is over, we CAN return to better self care, or, look like it! This is a pet peeve of mine... I currently have fallen in love with CRUSHED ALMOND R in THE CITY COLLECTION. Previously, I loved the TRES LECHES BLONDE, and COOKIES AND CREAM from the Cafe Collection. The TLB had a much softer blending of the rooted area. Whereas C&C on some styles had an unusually wide, long dark rooting with almost white tips. Both I think are practically gone. Now, I would love to see how these comparisons may go: Cake Batter blonde vs. Crushed Almond R. Milkshake Blonde vs. Crushed Almond R. I have heard there may be more dark blondes coming, too. Taz, NOBODY, consistently does the WONDERFULLY informative reviews that you do on a wide variety of wig wearers concerns. These are things that challenge confidence. I want to thank you for professional yet friendly down-to-earth videos and wig "snacks." Personally, you made my transition to full-time wig wearing much smoother. Hair loss, not so much! That's another problem😢 Please let me know what the major difference between blondes in this collection which on screens look identical. I wear JR'S PALM SPRINGS BLONDE, & RW'S BISCUIT/ SHADED BISCUIT, AND SHADED ICED SWEET CREAM (so rare!), ICED LATTE MACCHIATO, & PALE GOLDEN HONEY.(OF COURSE APPLICATION OF COLOR IS HOW I CHOOSE😂) RW allows more grace when choosing colors, fibers are fragile JR was my jam, my favorite as colors NEVER failed me; then the pandemic came and made their fibers much drier. I haven't chosen one in a while. Belle Tress should bring popular colors from their Cafe Collection or at least an update of them, as they have already discontinued a few, I am told. Color has become very difficult now, I can't be the only one. They say, brunettes are coming. Luckily, you look beautiful in every color with your beautiful baby blues and nice complexion. I need some help figuring out where I go on the colors as wigs don't seem to be as plentiful, and I would appreciate the options!❤😊
hi, Taz! I have all but abandoned this brand, sad as that was for me, but I've always wondered if Cake Batter Blonde is more blended than the Cream Soda Blonde they discontinued, what say you? I had Cream Soda Blonde and the shock of white hair at the front was not my cup of tea. A more blended shade, though still maintaining the highlights, would have suited me better. I wonder if it's a little cooler in the mountains where you are opposed to the southern end of Georgia.. my son is in Valdosta close to the Florida border, it was over 100 the other day... ugh! XOXO
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET Oh, yes, it's generally much cooler here than south GA, even in the hottest part of summer! The nights cool down a ton and it's slightly less humid at our elevation (just under 2000 ft), which is why I love the mountains. That said, this year is a hotter summer than normal for us. Getting to 90* is not very common, but this year, we're getting temps right at 90* and slightly above, not my cup of tea. I remember living in Ohio for 12 years with the military and it was quite humid there in the summers. Stay cool and hydrated, my friend! ~C
