You combine some good ideas here at certain points, but at 0.42 seconds, your rendition of that particular cut is actually horrible, one of the worst I've ever seen. This effect USUALLY is done in a way that for the vast majority of audiences, it LOOKS like you're cutting the center of the rope, even when done by fairly poor magicians, but the specific way you do it, it does not look even MILDLY deceptive, it is very clearly not the center of the rope. I'm wondering if you maybe misunderstood the way you are supposed to do that move, to make it look like you pull up the center of the rope. I think it might be worth going back and re-reading or watching those moves again to understand how they're supposed to be done. Its a VERY SIMPLE MOVE, but you have the center of rope on botton, holding up both ends in hands. Then pull the CENTER of rope up to fingers, and after doing the move, the part that looks like center of rope should be held in SAME HAND as the ends, with the "center" as a little LOOP sticking out to the side. You do the move in a very odd way and hold the part you grap in the other hand, and you can clearly see it's just the END OF THE ROPE, no where the middle. Please watch yourself closely and then rewatch other videos. YOu are spoiling this for other magicians by giving away how this is done when you perform for audiences.
