3:58 now call me crazy, but I think what we saw here was ropz guessing where the nade lineup was to break the smoke because he couldn't see his usual spot, so when he guesses wrong and the nade bounces inside he decides to slightly back up from it and then jump again to use it to peek beneath. It was really a quick adjustment on a mistake to make it into something useful. I don't think he intended to do it that way. Normally it explodes just outside the window and you can look around anywhere safely. I mean I could be wrong but he did damage himself 20 points
100%. It's funny when commentators think players are some all knowing geniuses that never does something wrong. If they do they do it on purpose :D Like the bad jungle smoke he did later. I don't think he really wanted to throw it that way. It only benefitted the CT's. just an "in the moment" mistake.
Hey lau how are you doing? Would ask for flamez vertigo in the final but might be too godlike to analyse, that or zywoo's nuke. Both maps have new dynamics with the smokes and all and that would be a great learning opportunity.

i used to do it but once you learn casting its hard to go back, being a part of the live game and doing live analysis is special even if you cant go as deep

Why would SMGs need to be nerfed? Meta changes over time. All weapons should be viable as long as the price is appropriate. Also P90 should be buffed if anything because it does less damage than 5-7 which just makes no sense.
ropz try and have impact on t side challenge *impossible* But in all seriousness how does no one call out the fact that he is one of the single hardest baiters at t1 counter-strike, yet blamef endlessly gets called a baiter? I guess people immediately prefer someone they can project themselves onto rather than blamef who is obviously not like most cs players. To clarify ropz is obviously great but I find the double standard regarding the communities opinion of ropz and his inactivity kinda wack compared to other similarly passive players.
interesting, from my perspective ropz was the most under fire lurker last year by the community. its just his role. blame has increased his activity a lot but essentially all 3 of blamef, ropz and spinx have improved so much in the last year in being more impactful
@@launders I definitely agree he has gotten better to an extent but I think out of him and spinx the blast fall final between vitality and faze is a prime example of stats not being reflective of impact and value added to the team, on vertigo alone, even though ropz ended up with better stats, his passivity quite literally meant two of his teammates got shot in the back by spinx because he refused to rotate at an appropriate speed (I am thinking of round 3 and 10 on vertigo). You could also see that spinx often sped up his mid flank onto a site to try and upset the tempo of faze's ct hold, although it wasn't that fruitful in this game it nonetheless forces the ct side to actually question when they need to check flanks, unlike ropz who from my demo viewing of his games very often tends to push mid whilst or after his team has pushed site. And on the nuke he put such little pressure on ramp or on squeak, his stats on t side again would indicate he is doing fairly well but it is mainly rain creating massive pressure outside that affords ropz the space to work into ramp. I am also mind boggled at the amount of times broky is forced on full hp to full clear a site nuke with the awp, being bait for ropz, I personally have never seen blamef do this to device or spinx to zywoo (in this specific example), although I cannot claim I have watched all their games/demos. I think his ct side is phenomenal but the impact of his t sides for me leaves much to be desired and I think both Blamef and Spinx offer a lot more to their teams outside of just kd. As a final note, I cannot read his mind but from watching twistzz's pov he might be a tad bit fed up of being bait. Due to how poor some of faze's set ups/utility is on t side, his role seems fucking awful to play sometimes, I can only imagine that he does not think ropz is mechanically better than him, so to go from getting your head caved in on repeat for your team to then panning over to ropz who is getting the choice of getting a clean lurk kill/saving/going for the clutch when often players are low/don't know where he is coming from, must feel pretty bad. Especially when the whole of the community is religiously circle jerking ropz's performances and critiquing his own obviously poor performances, I am pretty sure he wants a role where he can be put in more of these positions hence he is leaving the line-up. Again this is all speculatory from my part but I doubt he just randomly decided to leave this team if he felt he was getting everything he wanted to play his best game.

lau, you really need to cool off with the ropz riding tbh. There's other plays to review too. Faze just won two irrelevant events and people thought they had an era.
