In the first place it's really the past administrations let others came in to our eez and now our president Duterte is trying his best to resolve the issues still others think they have better solutions to this problem, well I tell you one thing for those of you that has better solutions next time run for presidency and if people voted you then you we will respect what your decisions will be but till then shut the F up got it! How can u say he is trying to solve d problem wherein he allowed chinese to fish in our eez. Chinese are less than 2 billion what will happen if we share our fish 2 them? And also if our fisherman cross their boundary even an inch they throw away our fisherman away. Cant u see its one sided?
@@jeffpangan9058 president duterte didnt allow them to fish in our eez the past administration did and even allowed the chinese to put military base long before president duterte became president and now he has is own tactics that he wants to use and what do others do blaming and criticizing his decision and why not blame the real people that let them in in the first place which is the past administration so for now I believe we can just trust what the president can do to fix the issues or if you really wanna ask the past administration why they let them In then you are welcome to do so..

I don't think she gets it that EEZ is waters, and the dispute over ownership of the islands is still present. Just because an island is within your EEZ does not mean that it is automatically your territory. There are many many instances in the world where islands within 200 miles off the coast of Country X actually belong as sovereign territory of Country Y. Justice Carpio is saying kasi that "there is no dispute" because this was already decided daw by the UNCLOS Tribunal in The Hague. But the UNCLOS tribunal could only rule on sovereign rights to exploit the EEZ, and the EEZ is composed of the SEA, not the land territory therein. The tribunal had no authority to rule on which country is the legitimate sovereign over the islands. That dispute remains. So what is needed is a combination of diplomacy with strengthening the Philippine Navy, but also strengthening our hold on what the Philippines already possesses (Pag-Asa Island already has people living there under a recognized municipality). In fact, it is a MUST. Simply barking at China like we did under the previous administration, and which the opposition still wants the current President to do, won't advance our territorial interests at all. We'll also lose more territory that way.
