What's epic about this whole part of the arc is that this is post final boss. In video game terms, the whole crew is at like 5% health and only AFTER does another final boss show up.
this is why i love zoro.still protecting luffy even though he's hurt himself and almost all of the people there passed out,he managed to stay awake..i love his dedication to luffy and how he cares for his nakama
@@yueshijoorya601 What? He turned himself in. Besides, that could be said for almost everyone. Sanji would be dead to don krieg, Robin would be dead to Croc, Franky would be dead to CP9, Nami would be dead to Buggy, Usopp would be dead to that claw dude.
yueshijoorya they don’t ‘owe’ each other anything , at least not from the context. They love and follow each other because they know that they are loved and that the other consequently would die for them. That’s a real friendship, that’s whats amazing about Nakama. There’s no greater love, then he that would forfeit his life for his friends. Zoro has also saved Luffy, so has the rest of the crew . They work together
@@robertosantibanez Yes, they do love each other. But that doesn't mean the crew don't owe him. There's a reason they tagged along at the start, when the bond was still budding. Maybe Sanji and Franky didn't really have to board, but the rest sure had to.
No anime has ever in my short lifetime had me this excited about what will happen next. They've all run too short to build up that anticipation. Eiichiro Oda thank you, your team, your voice actors, in advance for their diligent work. No other series comes close to your talents for storytelling comedy and character development. Long live One Piece. ^__^
@@Lionfang1720 I took a break after Whole Cake Island so I could binge when the story was further along. I’m probably 250 episodes behind 😅 lol. I’ve done pretty well to avoid spoilers. But I can tell there’s a bunch I need to see.
This will always be one of my favorite moments, possibly even more than his later line of 'Nothing happened'. Just that instant right hand man response--Zoro doesn't play, man.
Even after taking all that damage throughout Thriller Bark, taking on Oars one vs one for a while and then taking on Kuma one vs one, Zoro was still the only one to get straight back up after the Urasus Shock to protect Luffy. Fucking badass.
Roronoa Zoro it goes up and down, there are incredibly well-animated and poorly-animated episodes all throughout the series. i'd actually say it's the best it's ever been overall right now, though more and more people are pointing out the problems than ever before. if you think it was better before though, i double-dog dare you to go back and rewatch enies lobby, especially every time it shows robin's or zoro's eyes, franky, any of the cannon fodder characters or anyone in the background
Roronoa Zoro the reason why the anaimation is because it doesnt take a week to do animation like this. I remember this episode taking at least a good week. And the animation isnt that bad seriously come on man. But they cant do animation like this all the time unless you want 2 weeks every episode which i sure as hell dont. We are so far away from where the manga is right now its ridiculous.
Truth is, zoro ate the badass badass fruit which makes him so badass. Needless to say, the devil in the badass badass fruit is pretty badass himself, in fact, he is so badass he lets zoro remain unaffected by water, which makes zoro even more badass.
Kuma is a fascinating character. First of all , he is easily my favourite character design in all of One Piece the moment i saw him i was amazed by the look , i literally want a plushie of him. Secondly , well due to manga spoilers i won't say much i'll just say he's a better guard of Luffy than Garp or Dragon ever were. Not that i have anything against these legends even though we don't know much about Dragon yet , i love Garp , it's just that Kuma has done more for Luffy as you'll find out. The most fascinating thing about him though is that this man despised piracy and all sorts of crimes. He joined the Revolutionaries and after becoming a Shichibukai he couldn't bear to be often with them because any move of his was being watched. However , in the Navy he found another group that was helping people against criminals through the characters of Kizaru and Sentomaru that were very dear friends of his (well if anything it shouldn't be a surprise that since Kizaru went to Sabaody Archipelago they were summoned as well for the attack , even if Kuma as you'll find out was already there before the two of them). He is probably a great friend of Garp too , everytime there was a meeting in the Navy HQ and Garp haopened to be there Kuma would always sit next to him. They were in the council where the Navy was deciding whether to invade Sabaody or bot , Garp knows the Gate of the New World lies there , so he understands Luffy will go there to find the One Piece and pribably since an invasion ro that island was on the talks , he probably pleaded Kuma to go there and ensure Luffy would be alright (this is just a theory though based on hints through the manga during the Sabaody Archipelago arc , it's not confirmed) But the difference is that this man that disliked all sorts of atrocities , be it the World Government , Pirates or criminals , placed his biggest bet on a criminal or somebody that is conaidered a criminal when all he does is basically Navy's work (just for the island countries though , storming Enies Lobby is definitely a criminal act) , the pirate Monkey D.Luffy.You shall find out more if you continue.Peace. I would tell you some theories too about his relationship with Kizaru and probably some words they have exchanged but i've probably landed enough spoilers for the arc even after Thriller Bark so i'll end it here.Cheers! And always keep watching if you have time! One Piece is a treat bringing the world together.
@@prumchhangsreng979 i think it really doesnt matter how many swords he uses its all about tequniques cause shinshi sonson was the move which enabled zoro to cut steel
i really liket the animation in punk hazard.. when i waited every week for 1 episode, i didn't liked punk hazard really.. but i watched it a few weeks ago without waiting and i the animation etc. was really good for me o.o"
I miss this animation, minimalistic and you can feel the tension. Now everytime someone makes an attack it looks like an epileptic nightmare where everyone commands 5 different logias simultaneously.
@@user-fs6zl9uz3f speaking truth. I started watching one piece only recently and the animation has always been limited. The problem isnt that it just suddenly started sucking. The problem is toei's shitty schedule makes it really hard for animators to do their best work
Even with (almost) everyone else unconscious Zoro still stands on guard to make sure nothing happens to his captain... A great scene, Zoro truly gained my respect with the Kuma incident. He makes a really loyal and ideal crewmate. And Shishi Sonson FTW!!!
I just realized this now, ShiShi SonSon is the same move Zoro used against Mr. 1 since he was made of steel, so it makes sense to use this same move on Kuma since he's a cyborg.
Pre-Kuma flashback: Yeeeeeeah!!! Zoro fucked him up!!! 😎 Post-Kuma flashback: Why did Zoro have to do that to Kuma? He was just trying to help Luffy ☹️
Kuma was saying that he will take straw hat's head...so what did he intend to actually do? Ik he knew about Luffy being Dragon's son and wanted to save him but because he was saying that so what was his plan at thriller bark?
Do any one Notice this the first time Zoro use sneak attack!.He play dead and wait for Kuma to let his guard down! it just show how much he wasn desperate in that fight!
This slash looks 100 times more impactful than any of this new animated shit with always same soundeffects and lightflashes everywhere and 1 min pacing..
In reality, One Piece's animation mostly sucked. And from the beginning, too--it was never really impressive. But they really do have a few gold-standard episodes littered around in the bunch.
Breadback it's obvious where they put the money in. Key episodes are most definitely better animated. Luffy's gear second, Kizaru vs. Rayleigh... You can totally tell the difference. But yes, in general animation is poor.
this was one of those episodes where they hired in special people to polish and make it stand out, the rest of the episodes from this arc is not up to this standard. i do agree that its at its worst now though.
Number One Badass First Mate Zoro wasn't having any of that shit. Soon as he touched him its like " whoa whoa whooooa hold up playa, gon need you to back the FUCK UP!"
Can you even call that an injury? I‘m honestly surprised that he can still use his paws. They should‘ve fallen off/rotten away. His arm seems to be 100 % mechanical and 0 % biological.
Man this animation was AWESOME WEHRE DID IT GO, and this arc was AWESOME IM SO GLAD I did not skip ALso that voice acting is tremendous and that was a badass move from zoro
