Rory you just get better with age. I pray I get the chance to see you perform at your concert hall at the farm. It's still so hard to believe March 4 will mark 6 years since your Bride Joey went to Heaven. She's watching over Indy and you with so much love and pride. Never stop writing songs and singing for us fans. You are the thread that keeps Joey alive and bring so much joy to others 💖. God Bless You Always and always know how special you are.....
What a great story teller/songwriter and singer you are Rory ! I know there are many of us who have wondered "What if ?" But now ,at 64, I can look back on so many things and say..." oh thank goodness, I didn't! " Much love, big hugs and lots of prayers for you and your precious family!!
This is beyond beautiful. You put into words what I've wondered about for decades. I'm 78 now and have health issues... and I know I don't have much time left. I watched a video from the Gather collection where George Yontz said he had a lot more days behind him than in front of him. As our lives unfold we forget, or never knew, that if we take just one step different... that would be enough to change our whole life. Life is so short and so precious... What if?
Well said & Amazingly sung... Your songs all come straight from your heart... Every time I thought I've heard your BEST,... You top it again. Thank you for sharing your heart... Words So... TRUE...🤗✝️ GBY & YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY ALWAYS 🙏💖💙❤💙💖❤🤗✝️
Im so glad you are still sharing your gift of songs and singing. Ive been a fan from the duet show... I saw you and Joey live at the Grand Ole Opry. Im so grateful I saw you sing together. She still hears your songs and is with you...I truly believe that.
Awesome Rory! Your voice is so comforting and the sound of your guitar is lovely! We hope to meet you day when we can cross the border again. Though people say they are crossing with no problem … look forward to meeting some of you and seeing Marcy Jo’s 💕🙏 Canada
I went on a limb MANY times in my life. I have jumped off CLIFFS and said, "God, please catch me"... and He always did. I have NO regrets! None... 63, and I will STILL be going out on a limb.
thank you for sharing your gift with us. I'm widowed since 2007 and still feel married to him. I sometimes burst into tears over some minor thing or memory. My son has been my joy and Jesus has carried me through. I know you love Joey but I'm glad you decided to sing again after you said you wouldn't.
Love your songs, such a beautiful story teller., please keep these coming, bless you all. One day I hope you find love again you so deserve someone in your arms, and they will be so lucky, I know Joey would want you to share you beautiful self when someone again
"We walk this way but once..." and I will never wonder, "what if I had left the Trunk and went out on a limb" because I'm always out on a limb. I'm never alone - usually dragging my husband with me. Following God's leading has taken us to the strangest places to meet the nicest people. I've been connecting the God dots all of my life and I'm just now getting to see the BIG picture. Rory, thanks for singing this song - my Mom loved it and now, she's w/ Jesus. I'd like to purchase the CD - which one is it on? I have all the rest of yours and Joey's too. In Jesus' Love and mine, shelly
Absolutely beautiful beautiful story. My husband and I have been married 35 yrs February 14.. we were young. But we went out on limb. And we will be hand hand till the end. ✨💜🙏
Rory you are amazing. My husband is a singer songwriter. We can't wait to go back to Tennessee to go go to MarcyJoes. His last song written was called Don't Bury Me. .Hoping the next we visit you andIndy will be in the Resturant
Their faith and love for each other Is so inspiring, God blessed them in such a beautiful way it's not easy to find love like that unless God is involved
I dearly love listening to you sing. I watched you and sweet beautiful wife the first time you appeared on TV . My late husband said, “ this couple will make big time!” I had recorded a Gaither home coming and watched every Sunday night. It gave me so much comfort after my husband passed away 3 yrs ago. I would still have it but had to switch cable providers. I’m always listening to the Gaithers hoping they will have reruns of long ago. God Bless you and your daughters. Keep singing and I along with your so many fans will keep listening. Do you tour to Central Florida? If so I have lots of friends that would come to your concert.
I have listened to many songs, as g many songs, but this song I just heard for the very first time, I wept as I listened and thought to myself as well. What if, what if I would have ventured from that the trunk of that tree and went out on that limbb , and by the way this song sung by a gracious man who lost the love of his life
I love this man. I saw them yesterday on TV. Mom is 87 and told me the story of them. It's really sad the love you could see in there eyes for each other.
APRENDI COM O SENHOR JESUS CRISTO QUE A ÚNICA LINGUAGEM UNIVERSAL É A DO AMOR!!! SABE... A PESSOA SENTE DENTRO DO CORAÇÃO!!! UM DIA ESTAREMOS TODOS JUNTOS NA GLÓRIA!!!
I love this song! Who was the backup vocal? Was that Heidi? I didn't see anyone else on stage with you. It sounded awesome! I hope one of these days I can attend in person one of your concerts.
You and your family have touched so many people your love of God brings out the best in people and that precious lil Indiana what an inspiration to everyone and we love to hear your songs may God bless you and your family with All Mighty Grace
Here is the secret folks... The mundane is underrated.... Fame and fortune only make you desperate and a grifter in life...I would rather be that planted tree base.... not the limb
