saw and heard it many times in the 70s and 80s , nowt better - I think the Irish state should buy it and treat it as a national treasure like the Book of Kells

I believe the Irish government are attempting to bid on it, you are so right it should be bought and kept in Ireland 🇮🇪, I’m sitting here looking up at my almost 20 year old Rory Gallagher signature that I love so much and I’d hate to have to sell it but the price of living today it could be up for sale next week lol 😂🇮🇪🎸‼️

I never got to experience Rory live but I've been a fan since I bought Taste Live when it came out. I ave a lot of his records and love his music! I also play Fender Stratocasters because of him.

Well, that is the real you or you're the best actor, ever. Odd how attached we get to the "things" of the dead, but after not too long, you find it's really about the man, his life, his art, not the paint brush, chisel or even guitar....

Oh Dave, you’ve got it all wrong. Sure you’re the guy! I don’t think you’d sell it. You’d probably just fork it over to Cork! 😂😂😂 (Sorry, was dying to say that!) A noble idea for this idea to go back to the family who sold Rory the iconic Strat to begin with. I hope they manage to make it happen!
