Rosy earned it especially after saving the paper. She's smart and kind and perfect with people. Sad to say Paris is not good with getting along with groups.
Paris is being unreasonable accusing Rory of "stealing" her position as editor when she didn't convince nor agreed with the board firing Paris and becoming the new editor wasn't her decision either
Yes in the revival like many people I had a much higher opinion of Paris than Rory; Emily and Paris were the best characters in the revival. And yes I thought she was a wonderfully entertaining character. But that shouldn’t cloud things when it comes to analysing their friendship. Here and after this, Rory would have been well within her rights to ‘discard’ Paris and never bother with her again. Ultimately is having a friend like Paris who is so volatile worth it? I’d say no. Let’s face it, Rory was a significantly better friend to Paris than vice versa, Paris generally was a pretty bad friend. There’s a way longer list of nice things that Rory did for Paris than vice versa. There’s also a way longer list of horrible things that Paris did to Rory (such as this), than vice versa; Paris flat out bullied her on occasions there’s no way around that.
My opinion everything think Paris had a great life in the revival which wasn't true. She was married to her work and her home life wasn't great at all. She practically stalked Lorelai and Luke when they wanted to the serigecy (spelled that wrong). Then she had nothing in her brief case when she talked to the class and made the girls cry. if you find that great in the revival I fell for you. As for Rory struggling and being loss is part of life. Everyone struggles and are loss its normal. Can you tell me what 32 year old has their lives together and successful. I'm in my late 50's and I'm struggling everyday it's part of life.
@@lauriecarson6483 no surprise you didn’t bother to read the post that quoted properly ! Anyway Rory was a serial cheater at the age of 32. There’s no requirement for people to have their career plans finalised at that age, but Rory literally treated her boyfriend like dirt, and slept with other men without any hesitation. That was why she sucked as a character during the revival. Paris and Emily were the most entertaining parts of the revival.

@@lauriecarson6483 Mitchum was right in the sense that he was able to read her. She doesn't have the drive to put herself out there, which is seen in the internship and later in the revival. Her work can be great but it doesn't matter if she doesn't come up with anything herself and doesn't strive for it. She did what she was told to do and she did it well, but she has a hard time thinking ahead on her own.
I don't get why they wanna portrait Rory as a great and smart kid if we consider we have never actually seen her saying or behaving smartly. Her mother herself seems much smarter and insightful than Rory. She's not confident, not a team leader, she was always into letterature and never talked about politics... but still, she wanted to be a journalist. She makes much more sense as a book publisher, professor or nove writer
Your blind if you don't see Rory as samert or not a leader. If it wasn't for Rory stepping up at the paper then the paper wouldn't go out. I suggest you rewatch the show and then answer your own question. Cause if you can't see that in Rory then you have issues with her.
To be fair, Paris has very few vulnerable spots, and her insecurity about making "girlfriends" is a pretty big weak spot, so Rory using Chilton to girl talk her way into talking Paris down is pretty messed up, I mean in general its not a huge deal, but for Paris particularly, Rory is. like the only person who can go after that weak spot, and she did, and I know she just happened upon the meeting, but she came with coffee for everyone, so I think Paris was right about this and Rory wrote this to make her look. crazy
