To flesh out what was briefly alluded to in this video, there was a point where Rory died, then got erased from history, then reconstructed as a plastic Roman based on his girlfriend's unconscious memory of him, then spend 1000s of years guarding her in a vault. So basically, he is relationship goals.
Rory is the man we all aspire to become. He's humble, he's smart, he's dedicated to his family and friends, he loves his wife and he will never let go of what's important. He legit might be my favorite companion for the Doctor.
I’m an old school Whovian who used to say nothing would shake my love for the Tom Baker era, but Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are the best - the second golden age of Dr Who.
I'm not thrusting anything on you lol. I'm just saying he can decide what he wants, you shouldn't be saying that to people who haven't watched themselves. I guess you find it difficult differentiating between those two things.
I've seen Arthur Darville on stage a couple of times, in a musical and a serious play, and he's a really good, versatile actor. He was in Legends of Tomorrow for a while. Doctor Who has launched so many careers into stardom - just think of those those three alone, Matt, Arthur and Karen.
Well - coincidentally - if you have a look at your 'Executive Producer Tier' - amongst the 'A's - you will find the name of that other companion - Rory's girlfriend, eventually his wife - played by Karen Gillan - eventually Nebula in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and Ruby Roundhouse in 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle'. Rory - Arthur Darvill - did grow the beard, playing Rip Hunter in 'Legends of Tomorrow'. Hmm. I get the feeling that - eventually - if you see enough of these compilations, you'll see all of the continuation series - from 2005 onwards - without even stepping through the TARDISes' front doors. All you'll then have to do is put every clip in the right order. Ah. Then comes the frustrating bit! As Stan 'The Man' Lee used to be fond of saying, "'Nuff Said!" Btw: The name you need is Amelia Pond - Aka 'Amy'.
