오 한국드라마에서 연기하는 로제 모습이 전혀 놀랍지 않을거란 말에 공감합니다. 어쩜 영어권에서 연기를 해도 좋을것 같네요. 표현력이 좋은 로제가 연기 도전을 한다면 응원은 물론 열혈 애청자가 되겠어요ㅎ 이번 솔로는 블랙핑크로서의 음악이 아닌 로제 자신의 음악을 했다는 점에서 저 또한 반갑고 설렜어요. 싱글앨범 디자인도 로제가 직접 참여해서 열정을 디테일하게 쏟은게 앨범을 받아든 입장에서 고스란히 느껴져서 감동이고 고마웠습니다. 리액션영상 잘 봤습니다.

She is singing about how she has worked so hard to make it to the top, but she realizes how she misses Roseanne from her earlier days. During the song she finally makes it back to her younger self and realizes everything she ever really needed was on the ground as her younger self !!!

Although it seems that way, she's not talking about a love interest that she misses in the beginning of the song, it's actually her former self that she misses and thinks about every day. That's who she reconnects with at the end and you see her smile for the first time. She is oblivious to the destruction around her because she sings "What goes up, must come down", meaning that being at the top, your rise to fame, is temporary and meaningless if you aren't "grounded" in the important things in life, like family, friends and knowing your true self. Her younger self was dreaming about stardom and wrote her stage name "Rosé" on the mirror, which then transformed to her real name "Roseanne" (because that's who she REALLY is). Once she becomes grounded she is happy again, the color palette changes to softer, lighter colors and she can finally embrace her rise to fame, now that she knows what really matters.

I always find it offensive when people comment on how good Rosé’s English is, especially when they’re not new to BP. It’s like they cannot wrap their heads around the fact that Asians can be native speakers of English, which is what Rosé is. She was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia. English is her native language. She just happens to have Korean as her other native language.

The thing that I like about her solo is that she is much more of herself then usual Blackpink .... The sounds are unique showing her great vocals and musical abilities huge props to her to choose such concepts.... Although she might not have got as much as views as other member solos but her songs are one of my fav...

Hope you focus on the lyrics. They are the main focal point of both two songs.

You guys are cool BUT please just pay little more attention to the lyrics, if you do so you can easily tell that what the song is about(especially for this song, its all in english). There are so many reaction channels that just does it for the attention of kpop fans instead of actually doing the job, so hope yours is not one of them
