@1:40 the said recording studio was just behind my school, but i don't remember it to look like that. It had a glassy exterior. Now and then you see Im Song Seum, Huoy Meas, Chea Savoeun and some time Samouth himself come in & out. And man you could hear them sing away studio or not. Sometime there are lorries packing up musicians and musical stands & instruments for some official function. The place was next to the office of the Agence Khmere de Presse (AKP). Today it is over ran by ugly car sales yards, while sundry flotsam & jetsam have taken over le cercle sportif and Anuvityealay Preah Norodom. Thank goodness Le Royal is still untouched. C'est l'esprit borné qui a tué la beauté de la vielle ville.
oneginee - mon ami, je ne crois pas avoir vu Ros Sereysothea en ce temps la - mais je me souviens tres bien de Huoy Meas et Im Song Seum. j'etais un eleve du lycee descartes.

រស់ សេរីសុទ្ធា was a GOD gift for Khmers, whence I listen to her songs I seem to be boosted and touch by super energetic forces causing me regain full energy to continue my daily tasks. I have never gotten tired of her voices and her songs. I really appriciate much of her legacy.

What do you mean by powerful? If vocally then no one can sing like Ros Sereysothea Mao Sareth nor Huy Meas have better vocal than her! No disrespect but you know why Ros Sereysothea is more known nowadays than the others
