I will never understand why so much people hate her. She inspires me to take care of my skin. Her similes/metaphors that she uses match with what she’s saying , she is very pure and loves taking care of herself and she is very natural. Some people still feel uncomfortable when there is a confident and strong woman, and who feels super free as an artist doing the music she really feels. That + the ignorance of people is what creates the hate. I just hope with time, people get to know her a bit more as she is so cute and pure 💕.

My Latino friends don’t even think about colonization when speaking about Rosalía because it’s non sense. And btw she does music of many genres. They even criticize her when she is in the Latin Grammys, and the Latin Grammys in that case represent people who sing also in Spanish or Portuguese. You can even check that info on internet. That’s why there were many Spanish people nominated and winner during years especially men. Alejandro Sanz, Julio Iglesias… They were neeeever criticized, but now they do it with her. Why? Again, ignorance and sexism.

I don’t speak Spanish, so I could be wrong, but at 14:42 I think I heard the word “perdona” and I know it doesn’t mean “look at this” 🤔 Then she said “mira” which does mean something like that (I think), but the translation doesn’t seem to be very precise.

@@arol1644 you would be correct. However in this context she actually means (literally translated) "ohhh excuse me!" Like she is proud of her look. I think "look at that" would be a better/more "understandable" localization for this phrase she said even if it's not literal. It is exactly what she means though lol

The wonderful thing about seeing Rosalía's personality is that I identify with her because I have very close Spaniards ancestors and I was born in Puerto Rico so us women here in the island we have that same sparky smiling quality as well and sense of humor...!!
