She sums up her father the man in black perfectly. This got me very emotional especially to see my hero so emotional. Rest in peace big guy. Your spirit and music lives forever 🖤
@@corneliadenninger5395 her black cadillac cd was dedicated to her mom, her step mom and dad. They all passed @ 71 and within 2 years. If my comment said anything less, it was because she had mentioned 1.5 years approx. in an interview. Her greatest single CD in my opinion. Thanks for the clarification. I know personally that loss of that magnitude in a relatively short span can hit hard. Her Dad was a giant, shalom
@@rownaka3119 my point is you should treat all your children the same and not leave all your fortune to one of your children that's my point do you have a problem with that ?
Ditto Kacy M. I just had to watch it again today . Roseanne is very beautiful and is a superb singer , love her voice . It was also very nice to see Kris , Lyle and the beautiful , talented, Emmylou Harris . This is beautiful music !
Me myself heard often my wonderful christian mother say to me My girl..said with a soft and lovely voice and her eyes was full of Jesus love for me. No wonder that I believed in the Love of Jesus Christ. When I returned from summer.camp when I was about 8..10 yrs and my mother met me on the train.station after 6 summer.weeks..I throuhg me into her arms and cried of happines. I was as laying in the arms of God in Paradise. Sooo amazing wonderful Wish EVERY CHILD ON EARTH to once experience this ...they deserve it really God bless the children with His love in Jesus Christ. Amen
It's so fabulous that Roseanne can keep her father song the live and her voice is simply exquisite. The first CD that she did with the first 12 songs on the list is a fabulous collection.
These performers are brilliant at giving Johnny Cash the tribute he so deserves..Rosanne Cash is sensational .a daughter's love comes through and its terrific..r u with me? Johnny Cash lives on.
She looks a lot like him, in a way. In fact looking at the profile of each, I think she got his nose for starters. I'm pretty sure she also inherited Johnny's black Martin guitar; has it now that he is no longer using it.
I wish I could see Johnny Cash on stage. He died the same year I was born. I started playing guitar about 8 months ago and what got me started playing was listening to Johnny Cashs beautiful songs. Now me and my friends are making a a band and we all sing all of Johnny Cashs songs together and play them. R.I.P Johnny. We all love your music and we all love you.
Omg,The World Loved this Man,as big as his presents was,he was really a gentle and loving Man.l never get tired of listening to him.Johnny and June in the presents of our Lord.l no Your singing for the heavens above, and in your audience is God On the frist row.God Bless You Johnny and June♥️
Amazing to learn years later that "I walk the line" was written for Roseanne's mother, Vivian! What a special personal moment of truth and love between the members of his 1st family!
@@wynterduquesne5545 it was written by Johny Cash to his 1st wife Vivian as a promise to remain faithful to her. He hadnt even met June when his 1st hit was written or released! The story line in the movies doesn't even mention Vivian and it portrays June as being pursued by Cash but it was June that pursued Cash who had already had a no1 hit in the song "I walk the line" when the met. Cash became religious and happy he did but Vivian was his wife when the song was written for her and only her.
I don't know about Rosanne's soul being old or not, but she does have the wisdom of a born writer, which she is. She is also a Gemini, (May 24) with the same birthday as Bob Dylan.

To see him look like he was about to cry, simply because he was so proud of his beautiful daughter. It made me wanting to cry alongside him. His daughter delivered an unbelievable tribute with a powerful and emotional speech to her father, it made us want to celebrate Father's day all over again. What a remarkable man Johnny Cash was.
That was beautiful , my first time seeing that , Roseanne singing to her father and the other song Roseanne singing & the other country singers sing to Johnny Cash too .
I just love her voice....I love this rendition....and I soooo love the relationship between her dad and her...I can't help but shed tears here.....sniffle....must be that darn fiddle.....right....
Hey.... Rosanne.... You're just great.... That will always be the case for me..... Your voice, your performances are just sensational That's why I just want it to stay that way... I love your voice and your music 👍👍👍👏👏👏💞💞💞💞💕💕💕💕♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Guess I'm really late to this video, but who loves Roseanne Cashes voice like I do here in 2021. She's always been my favorite female country singer. I'm sure Johnny was very proud of her. Wish she'd make a comeback.
Such a fitting tribute. Roseanne's voice is beautiful. I am a lifetime fan of Johnny Cash. He gave me wonderful music times. So glad to see him acknowledged. God bless him.
It comes to show that the musical apple doesn’t fall far from the musical tree. There’s no better way to bring tears to a proud parent’s eyes & a huge smile on their face, than to see (in this case) Johnny’s gorgeous daughter, Rosanne, sing beautifully his songs. This video brings tears to my eyes, because I miss my dad so much, since his passing in 1991. It’s beautiful to see the then President Clinton & Cicily Tyson (RIP 😪🙏) sing along with Rosanne & everyone on the stage. RIP Johnny & June, & everyone featured in this video, who are no longer with us here on earth 😪🙏
Johnny Cash is my favorite singer and has been since I can remember. What a wonderful tribute to him from Rosanne and that Emmylou Harris is just the best at harmonizing! She is so amazing! Johnny Cash is showing his sensitive side here and his holding back those tears is genuine.
Well it dose'n't get any better than this..Rossane nailed it; she honored her father as any adoring daughter would do..he deserved it and she confirmed it...there's nothing more to say.....
He was so proud. Like he wants to say :"this is my child! She's mine, I made this, world, everybody, look!" Every father should be proud like this. There is no bigger happines then to see your child like this
my favorite lady in country music for over 30 years, so glad she's still going as strong as ever. such a wonderful voice, I swear it gets better with time!
Johny Cash, a REAL human being! A man with a faith, love in his heart, for God & his fellow men! A man who suffered and knew how hard life can be! ( As a music therapist I often sing Johny's songs, many of which are positive and faith building. His last Album 'Songs from my mother's book' is a jem!) God bless you dear man. Why cant their be more like him in this selfesh world?
Be sure to let your parents know how much you love them, strengths AND foibles. Especially like that she sang "I'll Fly Away" Pres. Clinton teared up at that one. I'm sure he's heard it many times in his Arkansas days
