i love that this video is just the interviewer asking completely normal and innocuous questions about their friendship and lewis being like WOAH man woah. we're just friends. buddies. thats it. its not like that. stop implying these things
it makes it even funnier how nico decides to rile lewis up even further by being like yeah…let’s just say we destroyed a few hotel rooms ;) and the interviewer is just stuck awkwardly laughing between them
Can someone pls explain at 2:00 who says “it’s a heart shape”? Bc Nico says he’s taking it too far after that but it doesn’t sound like he’s the one who said it 🧐 is there a clip missing or smth?
@@The_Curious_Cat also the Nico Lewis dominance was just out of this world, they were 1/2 almost all the time. Right Bottas qualifies well most of the time then just doesn't find enough speed on Sunday
Impossible to be friends and battle for titles, its possible Lewis and Nico will sort out there issues once both have retired happens with most rivalries.
there may have been quite a bit of hostility in the mercedes team while they were teammates but they were one god damn unbeatable partnership on the track.
I really enjoyed this interview. I never saw this playful side of the two of them before. I really hope Lewis and Nico can put their differences aside and rekindle their friendship. I believe that all things are possible if you try and maybe, just maybe, one day Lewis and Nico will believe that it's possible too✌️❤️🌈
I still think there is a grain of friendship left in their relationship. Its pretty obvious that the media over-hypes their rivalry. Think there might be some truth to Hamilton's claims about their relationship a few months ago. Like take that Hungary press-conference for example. They had a pretty tense exchange about the yellow flags, and by the end they were toying with each other (Rosberg giving Hamilton an empty bottle since Lewis had to pee xD). I can't see that happening in a completely wrecked relationship. Still holding out hope that once they retire, they'll be friends again.
I think these guys will be back to being good friends since Nico has retired and probably after Lewis retires. They could do some great things in the future together still...
They barely talk to each other now, off the track they go their own separate ways. lewis goes travelling and goes to some events and nico goes home and takes care of his child.
+Subhra Roy He's the same guy , he just likes to enjoy himself now, unlike his first 6 years. You or other people not liking him 'now' is usually because of very petty things.
I miss their good relationship :( i'm a mercedes fan since 2010 and it was even better when lewis joined, now they are just fighting and ignoring each other :(
Damn, 9 years later they were the biggest rivals, are not friends anymore, the one retired after 1 Championship and the other is 7 time WC and the GOAT.
He was just letting Lewis know that he isn't going to be shoved around like Lewis tried in Bahrain. The only difference between this and that move really was that it unfortunately ended in contact. Both moves were equally as bad as each other.
Ethan Pullen It's pretty clear that's what happened. He didn't deliberately give him a puncture. You can't plan that and the odds are against in that situation because punctures aren't that common in those situations.
This is a great video. Too bad Lewis had to be an arrogant prick (w/the fake humble act when he wins to fool people). In reality though it’s great he was cause it made their rivalry so intense. Lewis’ arrogance was not yet too bad yet here. To be fair, I’m sure it’s not to be arrogant when you’re young and winning F1 titles when F1 was still F1.
@@TheTororist oh no he isn't, you can just tell by how he treats his rivals and mind you Bottas isn't one of them. Lewis supported Russell until Russell drove the merc and all of a sudden Lewis has nothing to say. Nico is always respectful towards Lewis but Lewis doesn't extend the same courtesy to Nico
