Regarding the accent question, my headcanon is that since most of the people she went to school with have American accents, she probably adapted to that more than to her mom’s? XD (At least, I think most people in Storybrooke have American accents, hahaha.) It’s kind of like how kids of immigrants end up having American accents - because they hear that more than they are at home to adapt to their parents’. But magic works too, of course. 😂
