okay there's just so much perfection in this video so little rambling comment up ahead: - using "you want something you can't have, that way lies madness" for romitri is the GREATEST THING EVER - i never questioned / i was accepting / until she stepped in / moving like beautiful truth AND SHOWING DIMITRI'S RELATIONSHIP WITH RELIGION AND ROSE DEFYING IT fucking brilliant i want to cry - "first full laughter" tying in with dimitri dancing with rose which is the one of the very few scenes AND DEFINITELY THE FIRST IN THE SHOW where he's so free and young and enjoying himself - all the little parallels where they walk towards each other and then them walking together in ep10 :(( - AND ALL THE PARALLELS OF THEM JUST GAZING INTO EACH OTHER'S EYES AND HAVING TATIANA AND MEREDITH JUST SPELL OUT HOW OBVIOUS THEY ARE - also the little details you've noticed such as dimitri taking a steadying breath after his tribunal, after st. jude's or when he lied about sasha tanner just to protect rose - and the smoothness and how GOOD all those fighting scenes paralleling and transitioning to the other THAT'S SO GOOD OH MY GOD - rose's grief over mikhail and dimitri's grief over alexei - "she deserves to be safe and happy" AND SHOWING ROSE CUDDLED UP TO DIMITRI IN HIS DUSTER AS WELL AS HER DANCING WITH HIM WITH THE BIGGEST SMILE ON HER FACE AAAAAAH this is just absolutely fucking brilliant i hope you don't mind me swearing but it's SO GOOD.

I love all the transitions in this video, from the scenes of them outside & one of them is walking towards each other, to Rose doubling over in pain because of Strigoi to them kissing. Those transitions 👌😍

I’m crying. -“you want something you can’t have.. that was lies madness” that is so perfect for this and them that it gave me goosebumps -the parallels of Rose walking up to Dimitri are so beautifully done🥺 -Dimitri questioning his faith as the song plays over with Rose smiling.. wow.. amazing. The song is perfect. -the parallels of Dimitri comforting/holding Rose all the times she bends over in pain.. also so beautifully done. Still crying. 🥹 -Tatiana and Meredith talking over the video stating that they love each other -The whole entire sequence after she falls over in pain are a masterpiece. 1. “Keep thinkin bout how much I changed today” as Dimitri is looking back at Rose, hesitating. My how far they’ve come. 2. “And now I really think you're heaven sent cause you've been forcin all these hollow hearts to feel again” playing over her beating some sense into him while trying to stop her own pain. breathtaking. 3. “And now I really think you're heaven sent, but there's a beauty in being broken, I've been seeing it”… I’m in awe. The two of them shown on the ground of the ring at probably the most broken point in both of their lives.. I’m sobbing.. this is amazing. Perfection. Again, a masterpiece. Thank you.

I have rewatched this a truly embarrassing number of times. It’s just so stunning. Your videos always look beautiful (I have also rewatched the Bloodsport one far too many times), but this one is next level. Really impeccable editing, particularly from around 3:20 with the shots of them training/in combat/in the ring (the bit at 3:40 with Rose spinning under his arm in drills right to a similar move in the ring made me gasp, SO good). And the section toward the beginning of them walking toward each other made my heart hurt. Really fabulous work, thanks so much for sharing it (and for introducing me to a new artist - I’ve also had the song on repeat for days!).
