The tinted serum looks soooooo good on you! Julia Adams raves about that serum all the time and it looks amazing on her as well 💜 I'm very interested in their cream blushes, I've heard nothing but great things about them! Hope everything went well with your move 😊
I just realized how I missed watching your videos! I'm in the same boat as you lately, I don't love wearing makeup since I'm working out more and sweating a lot. That nude lip pencil with the more berry toned lip stain + bronzed skin is perfection! I'm going to the UK for my summer holiday and they carry Rose Inc at Space NK, I'm so excited to be able to swatch and have a look at those products. Good thoughts from Norway
I love all the Rose Inc products I have bought. I have the tinted serum, concealer, all 6 of the cream blushes and the two different types of lipsticks. (I think that's it.) I am ready to purchase the bronzer. Not sure what shade I want in the highlighter, so I'm holding off for now. You should definitely get one of her cream blushes, they are pretty similar to the cream bronzer (by the way you described it). You can't go wrong with any of the shades. Foxglove is Julia Adam's and my favorite.. It's gorgeous, and it is a burnt orange terracotta shade. Beautiful for summer/fall. It gives me a fresh out of the sun look to my cheeks (w/o being in the sun).
Honestly I’m so excited you posted this because your are almost my shade twin & they are having a 25% off right now. Also running out of my ilia and wanting something a bit different till i rebuy that product. I honestly think i might do the shade darker for bronzer since we go to the beach every week with the kids and i just continue to get darker
I have been going back and forth whether I should get them or not, and you just helped me make up my mind! I will return and update you later lol thanks for the review and God Bless
I haven't tried any of Rose Inc's makeup but I heard great things about her eye cream. And I'm usually not drawn to skincare from cosmetic lines but I couldn't ignore the raves. I tried it and it did not disappoint. It's silky and smoothing. I love it!
@@lex_faceit I think you'll like it. It's not the most moisterizing eye cream in the world. But it is just the right amount of hydration and so smoothing, perfect if you're going to layer concealer over it. It kinda of acts like a primer.
I love the rose inc tint. I have noticed pilling as well. I think yes the dermalogica. I don’t think they like each other. Will try without it and see how it goes. I want to say I tried it without before and there was no pilling.
Great review! I love roseinc as a brand overall. I’ve only tried the concealer then after sometime, got the blush. I truly love the concealer- at first I wasn’t so sure cos it it’s so full coverage and more matte, it didn’t look so good but I figured out how to best apply then it was all g! The blush formula is nice too but I don’t like the shade (foxglove) as much as I hoped to. One day I’ll try the serum once I go through my other serums. Definitely my preferred overall complexion formula!
I love the Rose Inc tinted serum, but I use around 2.5 pumps when I use it and I’m really going through the bottle…I feel like it’s not gonna last that long (and I’m not even using it every day) - that’s the only downside to the product though!
Great video Alexa! Do you still think the bronzer (shade Kauai) is still on the neutral side? I've seen a lot of reviews saying they are yellow/orange-y and I'm after a bronzer that's more neutral and not too warm
I haven't tried anything from Rose Inc, but I've been loving a similar product to the tinted serum from Chanel, ever since they launched it a few years ago (Waterfresh tint). Recently they introduced a version with a tad more pigment, but looking at this Rose Inc serum, I'd say the new "more pigmented" Chanel product has probably similar amount of pigment as this Rose Inc product (i.e. the original is even sheerer). I love the even sheerer original Chanel Waterfresh Tint, as it barely has any coverage, but there is some magic to it (blurring or something? funny thing is that it's not even marketed as having blurring qualities, but to me it definitely has), that makes the skin looking way better without the coverage, without looking even a tad bit like makeup, which I love. The only situation when it becomes a bit noticeable is when it rubs a bit off under the rim of my glasses if I put too much on, but practically every complexion product on Earth (with literally a couple exceptions only) does that, so I don't consider it a flaw, I just pat it in and go on with my day. :)
btw, if you went foundation-free and like these kind of complexion products, which mainly just enhance the skin and act as additional skincare, rather than cover things up, you may also like the typology tinted serum. It has only 6 shades, but again, it's so sheer that it doesn't really matter that much. and they already expect/encourage people to mix&match if needed, so that second shade is half the price (which is already reasonable, at least in Europe, I think the full price is around 25 Euros).
Sorry second comment but i love the concealer, its like the creamier version of pat mcgrath and more consistent to be honest (bought 3 rebuys from her)
I haven't experienced any pilling with the foundation, but I don't layer a ton of skincare underneath so that could be why. All of my naturium serums sit very nicely underneath - I would say maybe try your serums/skincare separately underneath to figure out the culprit.
The blush is very nice but the lipstick is too drying. The foundation shows every pore on the face when blended. Tried to love but just couldn’t and got a refund.
