Hi Janelle! I absolutely adore your nail designs and I would really like to duplicate them. I was wondering if you could give me advice on how to use white polish. I've tried several different brands, but they all come out chalky, sticky and horribly uneven. I would love to try these designs where a white base is needed, but i seem to be a spaz lol. Any tips/tricks would be tremendously appreciated! Thank you! :o)
I'm not Janelle, but there is Nail Polish thinner- NOT the same as nail polish remover. So if your white polish is getting goop, put a small amount on a piece of tinfoil and add a small amount of thinner, it will help with application.White nail polish is really tempermental, so using thin coats and properly storing the polish (dark areas, cool temps) can help it stay smoother longer. It's a tricky thing! I would recommend OPI Alpine Snow or Essie's Blanc, they're good formulas :)
Andie Blondie Hi Andie! Thank you so much for replying to me. I have OPI Alpine Snow as well as Esse's Blanc. I guess I'm just clumsy with them. However, thinning them out like you suggested sounds like it would definitely give me more control over the polish. Do you think Seche Restore would work just the same as a polish thinner product? :o)
Tiffany21NYC hiya! :) Seche Restore would work quite well- I'm not sure how much the thinning formula varies from brand to brand, it may take some experimentation, but Seche is a good company so it should serve you well :)

Hi how do you keep your nail and hands so soft looking I've tried lotion even oils but I dont know why my hands are so rough do you have a special brand you use of lotion I just use plain lotion....and I posted earlier but no one replied it was why don't you use your tools I've seen you only use toothpicks and bobby pins...thank you😃
