I don't think there will ever be another performance like this. It perfectly encapsulates talent, meaning, uniqueness and beauty... Regardless of your thoughts on the dancers it accomplished what it set out to do. Send a message. And it's a message that will never be captured so effortlessly again
When I first watched this the music stopped and we entered Rose's world. I became an absolute mess. I cried like crying was going out of fashion. OMG it was a beautiful moment.
This was the most incredible performance on strictly or any entertainment show ever. The moment I saw this dance I said 'winner', you could have ended the show then 🙂
It is important that the impact that Rose and Gio have had on the deaf community is never forgotten... As the mother of a deaf young man I raise my hands in deaf applause!
Im deaf and this performance inspired me to not care what people think and the bit we're they turn the music off that's all I can hear I carnt he's my own voice and its heartbreaking but amazing to see a performance like this been recognised by so many people
went to see Strictly live in Birmingham and seeing this in a hushed arena made me cry allover again, it was even more atmospheric and then the arena erupted when the music came on, everyone on their feet....magical
Rose well done your going places your future is going to be amazing. Strictly was just the beginnings of many beautiful adventures your going to embark on, I just know it, such a beautiful inspiration for the world to see xx
@@Fartman3000 in the final it would be special whoever won. Rose (the winner) was the first deaf winner and John(runner up) would have been the first gay celeb to win
Rose is listening to the music in a different way from a hearing person ,please look at Her feet as she is listening to the music starting at the soles of her feet and in every muscle and bone ,her entire body is feeling the beat the music .She is following the rhythm of the beats to keep her on track ,it's a beautiful sight to see .
What an amazing inspiration to everyone, all the young children can look at Rose and see how you can make it in life if you just get out there and do what you must xx
It's such a shame that you don't have cc (subtitles) on this video so Deaf people can't enjoy what you're saying. Watch it without sound and you will know what it's like for Deaf people.
I can't believe that after seeing how incredible rose was on strictly, people were so disgusting when it was announced they plan to have a wheelchair user on the next series. Doing things differently is no bad thing.
It's different with a wheelchair. It is unfair on both sides. The dancing is all about the technique of the footwork. A wheelchair person cannot do that. They would not be able to Samba, Argentine Tango, Charleston. It would just be the pro doing all the work, dragging them across the floor.
@@bessieburnet9816 that's not true at all. There are inter-abled wheelchair ballroom dance competitions all over the world. It would not be difficult to modify the judging criteria, which is only upto personal prefernce, to be inclusive of a wheelchair user.
Have you ever heard of lip reading ,it's a way deaf people can communicate with hearing people ,but it helps that the mouth area is clear and visible when facing the deaf person .
