Oh my goodness, this Rose Quartz tutorial is so great and entertaining, which some makeup tutorials fail in accomplishing. I look forward to any future tutorials, if you ever think or plan on doing more! I would love to see Peridot and Pearl sometime ^^

First off you make a lovely Rose Quartz! Next I really like that you voice over, it takes less time from the makeup while hearing it is easier. I can't wait to try it out!
what brand lip liner did you use because I'm not a heavy makeup user, and my lips are usually pretty obnoxiously bright on their own but that is the PERFECT shade of pink.Also, where did you get the setting spray? And I've got covergirl coverup but that's about it.@_@

If people want to stay true to the character, and I mean TRUE to the character. You should have big and full black eyes, not like the whole eye black but to where it looks like you only have a giant pupil. Then make your brows black or a dark brown and really think. And make your lips a little pink and very round (think princess peach round). Rose wears no makeup what so ever. The only pink that rose has is her hair, lips, and gem. This is my opinion so yeah
But the problem with doing that with the character is because it only looks like that due to art style and it would look really creepy if it was just black pupils.

***** I honestly think for most Gems, and to a degree Rose included, body paint is really the best and sometimes only option. Garnet might be easier to get away with with maybe a slight hint of red, but Rose is almost pure white, so unless you have skin thats freakishly pale i doubt you can get the right tone without thicker makeup or Body paints.
Rose isn't pure white at all. She has the complexion of a white or light skinned person, but her skin isn't pure white, and body paint definitely isn't needed.
+butterflyfly1470 Looking at Rose though, this looks a bit too tanned for her. She is much closer to white than she is to peach anyway. Just a tone down or two would have been more accurate imo. It not like Pearl or anything though.
