This is off topic, but I just wanna thank Bobby and the whole crew. I’ve been suffering for a lot of years with addiction and depression. Hearing your stories has inspired me to get out of this dark place. Cheers, wish all you guys the best.

That "butler" they looked up is not a butler. That is Smedley Butler. To my knowledge the most decorated anti-war/american economic wars military person of all time. Look him up. They even tried to convince him to perform a coup to get FDR out of office. He declined. "War is a racket, it always has been." His quotes and insight are amazing and proven brutally true to this day.

@@richi1235 only in movies man; someone trapped underwater is probably in a state of panic and you can't communicate to them, so you would not be able to transfer second-hand air to them from your mouth successfully. in a very short time they will lose consciousness and then it definitely won't work.
I loved when Rosebud was talking about guilt and she said that it was easier for her to blame herself than except that things can change that quickly. I find that to be true in my experience too, that really resonated with me. I had to pause the podcast. :)
I absolutely love Rosebud Baker! I was impatiently waiting for this episode. Her special was awesome. Just throwing this out there, but I would love to see her on Trash Tuesday. I think her and Annie would be funny together. Nostros Papya!
I’m loving Rose’s come up. I always thought she was naturally funny and was super authentic. Love this episode and I love how Bobby was telling her husband’s ex to fuck off. That’s the type of comradery I’m here for lol.
I'm sooo happy Rosebud is on. Find Your Beach is such a great pod and her and Andy are the best. You don't have to start from the beginning but it's a wild ride. Daily podcasts beginning from day one of the lockdown, but slowly transitioned to biweekly and weekly. Put up with the sound quality issues early on, it's indie, they figured it out themselves. It's almost a bit they riff about, and eventually get studio space (but the earlier long episodes are some of their best). Also their Patreon is so worth it for the extra episodes. Ok sales pitch over ❤️
Dude, tigerbelly is like therapy. Makes me see comedians are just people. They've got their problems too. Bobby and khalyla have a way of making people open up.
my brother died, and i’ve suffered with feeling like it was my fault as well. he was my only sibling and my only friend growing up, but for the last couple years of his life i had distanced myself due to my abusive now ex who didn’t like him, and my brothers addiction problems were weighing heavy on me. he had just got sober and found a new job out of town. he asked me to drive him, at this point he was pretty much begging me to be the one who drove him because he missed me and wanted to catch up before leaving town, but i was stubborn and said no because my boyfriend at the time told me he did not want me going. if i had taken him i would’ve drove him the day after he ended up actually leaving, but since someone else drove him he got a ride the day prior and that night he was slipped fentanyl and died. i never got to say goodbye like i would have if i drove him, and i also always felt he wouldn’t have died if i did take him because his timeline would have been different.
its disappointing, this fan base already funds them enough for them to be peddling this kind of crap. I feel like Bobby was talked into this by someone.
My friend owned a funeral home and we used to play there all the time when we were little. They actually have seriously strict protocol for the cleaning out of the cremation ovens. (Bc I thought of that question and asked it when i was like 11)
I had learned about Jim Baker in college solely from his help in advocating for Consumer Safety on behalf of his granddaughter and I had NO clue Rosebud was her sister until now! Holy shit

It took so long for last week's episode to appear on Spotify that I feel like I got 2 episodes this week! So glad to see Rosebud Baker on the show. I've been following her youtube channel since the pandemic started. Great episode.

For the longest time I've been tryna figure out who Rosebud looks like and just figured out during this podcast that it's Nicole Kidman! Very excited to watch her rise to her fame :)

I first heard of Rosebud through podcasts she was on. Never heard her stand up. Thought she was pretty funny based off the podcasts. Then saw her RU-vid special. Was not disappointed!

@@LordAsturgis definitely was Sam isnt very good without Mark holding him up. He’s way to in his own head about New York the city that is literally generations of that loser from your hometown that never left and thinks it’s the greatest place ever because he is the “king” of it. Descendants of all the people to lazy or scared to go beyond where the ship dropped them off.

@@PopCultureNihilist Do you do movie reviews? I have a really eclectic taste in cinema. So much of what comes out of Hollywood is complete garbage. I can't recommend these movies any higher. They are formerly banned surrealist films that are trippy as heck, and probably won't be found streaming anywhere. 1) "Holy Mountain" by Alejandro Jodorowsky 2) "Hourglass Sanatorium" by Wojciech Jerzy Has 3) "On the Silver Globe" by Andrzej Żuławski

I haven’t seen those but I’m definitely interested to take a look at The Holy Mountain. I’ve heard of the filmmaker but never got around to exploring his stuff. Thanks for the suggestion

I think you're diving too deep into it, but could very well be right. I just see it as a funny bit because he always says things that spark a conversation then goes "don't say anything yet, haven't said your name" and I love it.... LOL
He's explained it before he doesn't want to assume the audience knows who the guest is so he wants to give them an introduction before they start talking
