Thanks for the kind words. Glad you got a chance to talk to Matt and put a face to the fingers. I was at the show on Friday and it was absolutely packed which I take as a very good sign.

Tim, you are an incredible tier and are amazing at making these videos. At the somerset fly show today people were RAVING about your videos and how great of a tier you are. I got to talk to Matt Grobert who you often feature in your videos and who is also an incredible tier. You also have many innovative and deadly patterns and seem like a really nice guy. You are honestly as great of a tier as anyone else. You are more than qualified to tie at one of those shows. Just thought id let you know!

Anything with antron or z-lon in it works great. Dubbing, thread, yarn will all work fine. The idea is just to create something that looks like a trailing empty shuck with translucency and shimmer.

Great fly and thanks for the great video. I bet this pattern would lend itself to a Klinkhammer hook.

That bit at the end, where you explain and show how the fly is supposed to lie on the surface film, was a revelation. That "Doh!" moment... lol... I've only been tying for a year, so being able to see how the fly is supposed to present in the water *as an emerger* makes a world of difference in terms of understanding how to tie it. I can see how changing the angle of the wings will affect how the hook hangs in the water - interesting. Different water conditions, different presentation, maybe (more or less). Also... that voice! Awesome! {I know I should freed the trolls, but really - come on - it's easier to criticize someone else's work than to produce your own.}

Tim/Matt, I am repeatedly impressed by how you get your dubbing noodle to be just the right length and end up at just the right spot each time! Seems I always have to add or subtract just a bit more! LOL! Nice tip to use just one blade of the scissors to cut the shuck...

I know it’s in the name but is there anything I can substitute the rabbits foot material?
