That section at 3:25 is hypnotic. Beautiful playing and a savory tone through that wonderful little amp! Wish I could have been in the room when that was happening.
@carthagepropaganda hmmm a matter of taste maybe. to me its downright AWESOME ! Of course there's no Reverb or Chorus included but you can play it with out saturation if you dont like, and it's incredibly warm.
"good" in tone is not a right or wrong question. People who think that are invariably not artists, not creators but followers who participate in music as a contact sport to see who can most closely duplicate someone else. Would Django have prefered a JC120 if he had one available? I don't know, however I do know that I greatly enjoy the polyphony associated with ultra vintage amps and regularly choose to play through them... and I have plenty of others to choose from.
