Rosie O'Donnell's first HBO Special from before her days as a beloved daytime talkshow host. Topics include: Woody Allen, OJ Simpson, Iman, Melanie Griffith and so much more :D
Originally Aired: April 29, 1995
Thanks to Peter Lavalle & jonluvsmaddy, I was able to splice together all of the clips of this show and present the entire special without interruptions. This is the best combination of audio and video quality available online (there are a few tracking issues, but what can you do?). I would love HBO to release this one on DVD, it's truly fantastic!

This stand up was what my mom, my sister, & I would watch together in the 90s when we needed a good laugh! Those were the days! Love Rosie!😁💚🌻

This special blew her up and got her the show... She won awards for this set. I am a stand-up comedy snob. I've been watching stand up since I was a little kid watching Eddie Murphy's raw in the theater. Because my parents were inappropriate :-) LOL I saw this show as a teenager on HBO and was blown away! :-) Just watched the whole thing again. Still great

I saw this when it first came out and LOVED IT! And I was think in about some of the jokes in it the other day and looked it up, and it is still as funny now as it was then. Rosie is STILL one of the best Comedians to ever grace a comedy stage! Thanks Ro!

I was ten, my mom recorded this on a VHS and I’m surprised that cassette never wore out as many times we watched this. I know it by heart, I can only watch alone because I’d annoy anyone because I’d be saying it out loud! 😂

that little tribute to her mother at the end was really beautiful. i love this special very much. every now and then i get "i'm washin' my hands of you! i'm WASHIN' my hands!!!" stuck in my head for no reason, like an earworm :)

You know the irony of this? On her talk show Rosie has been known as "The Queen of Nice" and in this standup special she's swearing all over so she's "The Queen of Naughty" or "The Queen of Smut".

Someone needs to inform Rosie that (a). Woody Allen never adopted Soon Yi; (b). He never played any part in her upbringing; and (c). Soon Yi wasn't 16 when they started dating. She has a very skewed view of what incest is. I also love how she puts Mother Teresa and Mia Farrow in the same sentence - and not a trace of irony!
