As a Thistle fan, well done to County, yous deserved it in the end. You can't be 3-0 up on agg and blow a game with 15mins to go regardless if our fans and county want to go back and forward with VAR decisions. I am personally not for VAR I would get rid of it but some of our fans can't use that as an excuse as VAR worked for both teams in the 2 legs. County done brilliant defensively with 10 men in the 1st leg and then went all out for 2nd so in hindsight County deserve it more tbh. However if we just got another goal or 2 in the 1st leg I believe we would of went up and county would go down. You can't also after blowing a 3-0 lead then miss a sitter from Brannigan at the end. Then on penalties it is just luck of the draw and county took it. Devastated as I am from that game I am still proud of the team of where they came from under that shambles of a manager Ian McCall. Doolan took a team that was low on confidence and managed to go on one of the best runs I have seen from this club (and potentially could of won the title if we won another couple of games) and the players themselves gave everything. Fair play to every support that was there today and when I was coming home from the game the journey home was brutal. Looking forward to next season in a tough league but best of luck to both teams for next season 🔴🟡⚫
Man! I'm a neutral (St Johnstone) and, as such, it was an incredible game to watch. I feel your pain but fair play to Ross County. I'll be hoping you come up next season.
It’s unfair thistle had to play 6 games after a long season in a very short period of time and county play 2 games, i don’t know how they could level things up a bit but it always tips in the big league team favour, not a fan of either team but well done both for putting on a great game.
Back here watching this after we lost on pens again last night. Against Raith Rovers at Starks Park in the Play-off semi final this time. It’s tough being a Thistle fan sometimes. We always seem to do things the hardest way possible. We’ll make it back to the top flight one of these days 🤞🏻
American Gers fan here, but gotta say: One of the most amazing games I´ve seen all season. Beats those lame kicks at much higher levels like CL or EL, even Bundesliga or Premier League. Congrats to the Staggies, that was some comeback, lads.
In the bag until the Pen, then 93 min...OUCH! 😯 Thought Thistle were going up, amazing that only 20 min of 2 games can be the deciding factor. That's football for you though. 👍 Good luck to both teams for next season from a Jambo that lives in Glasgow! 😂
I am a Killie fan but I have got to say that I am delighted that County have kept their Premiership status and have always thought that Malky Mackay is a brilliant manager and achieved the impossible.
Well done the Staggies, I think the playoffs are exciting but the top two should get automatic promotion and third to fifth plus the third bottom Premier side should contest a play off, the odds are always weighed heavily in favour of the higher division club and that’s protectionist
Three big decisions went against them, but honestly, you can't blame the ref when you are skying the ball over the bar from 5 yards out...both teams looked poor...Scottish football really needs a lift.
Jesus, As a Well supporter i thought us equalizing with Livi from a 93rd minute goal mouth scramble to take 6th place before the split last season was bad....the game can be cruel
First time lve looked at this since the day The penalty was as clear cut as you will see.A Police Inspector deciding where the penalties will be taken. Where is that in the rule book ?
I write from Azerbaijan . I think that the referee was very very worst. He didnt give Patrick's penalty. And he gave penalty for Ross , but there wasnt any penalty.
Partick can feel hard done by with the refereeing (cast iron penalty not given and clear red card rescinded), but consistently leaving players unmarked in the six yard box will lose you games.
He wasn’t in a goal scoring opportunity and there were two county men behind it and even then the challenge happened just inside the Partick half, yellow all day long
