We all appreciate Ross and how brave he is to be able to get us these interviews but we should seriously give the camera crews some appreciation. Lugging these heavy cameras around in hot climates can be hard enough but holding something that is essentially a big block of money that a criminal may want to try and rob is pretty brave, not to mention filming those that could easily take offense to being filmed. Good stuff as always and never scared to ask the harder questions.

Belize used to be called British Honduras, and the various English accents in places like the Bahamas, Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, the Windward Islands and the Leeward Islands all have accents that sound quite similar to outsiders. But to people who are from the Commonwealth Caribbean Islands, it is much easier to distinguish between the various different accents.

Belize city is fucked. The villages are stketchy but alot nicer and much less hostile. Visited the ruins, when i was there. Belican and lighthouse are pretty much your only options for beer. Its a british colony which is why everyone speaks english. Only place in central america where spanish isn't the only thing really spoken. The place i visited bordered with guatamela. Your money goes far. They use dollars, but for canadian its a 2:1 ratio.
