(Ross entering a new country) Guide: "It's actually pretty safe here, just don't piss off these groups of people" Ross: " I heard what you said, but I take that as a personal challenge".
@@Jp-do9ny they want to ethnically cleanse their country of "undesirables" ,most of these groups are no joke though,if they ever came into power they would do it.
@@aurockscastillo5460 man you liberals are whack jobs, all have hyperchondria. They never said anything like that. At most they'd just kick them out of the country.
@@Jp-do9ny "You liberals boo hoo wee" first of all, as a Bulgarian these groups tend to beat (and murder) innocent people of other ethnicities. They are not in their right. They have no right to kick anyone out of the country. The fact that you support this says alot about you.
There seems to be a lot of focus on "ex-Communists"; it is the right-wing groups' refrain and parroted routinely by those too young to have lived during that time. Every country had its own story to tell. Although Communism is perennially tarnished in the mainstream media, some places did better than others. Albania and Romania's economies stagnated after the mid 1970s while Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria all continued to grow. Bulgaria was one of those that did very well during that time, especially when it was producing home computers. What this programme - or segment at least - has missed is the wide dissatisfaction from the overall populace, including Roma and Turks, and that is the sentiment opposed to the EU. In 2020 demonstrations have intensified and not against the pro-Russian President Radev, but the meatsack darling of the EU Borisov who is PM.
The world is a weird place, the same fear you have is in those people too, as the Blood and Honor skinhead group comes from the UK. The biggest problem is always our own problem
Every country has shithole areas, many other countries in the EU also struggle with the Roma people who live in their garbage and don’t take care of their living area. Don’t judge Bulgaria just on a documentary focusing on the ugly bits, most of the country isn’t like this.
Because that's not what the country is actually like. Watch a documentary about right wing extremists in the US and wonder how it's the most influental place in the world.
This is footage from 2008, one year after Bulgaria joined the EU. Obviously a ton has changed since then, mainly the fact that the far right and the gypsy circles aren't as big anymore or have gotten better at hiding
Someone needs to warn these poor girls that working anywhere as a sex worker under the control of anyone else is terrible, including in the British isles. This notion that people from outside the UK have of it being some wonderful place to live and work, even in trades such as this, is a complete falsehood and needs to be challenged properly. Britain is a terrible place to live if you are poor, whether you are a citizen or not. It is hell on earth for sex workers who have been duped or forced into coming here. "Britain PR" presents the country as a haven of happiness and wealth to the outside world, through its media and its propaganda, in order to attract investment and whatnot, but for anyone that doesn't have an adequate amount of capital, Britain can be a nightmare. If I was able, I would warn people of this before they attempt to come here. Not because I don't want them here - quite the opposite, I think that multiculturalism is a wonderful thing. But i would warn people that, unless they have a job secured that will ensure that they can live well, as well as arrangements for housing and all the rest of it, then they are probably better off where they are, or perhaps somewhere more legitimately prosperous (of course this doesn't apply if they are asylum seekers and are fleeing war or persecution and need to be in a safe country - in that case, then they should certainly make the move if they are able, although our nasty government is making it difficult for asylum seekers). Too many workers come to Britain, legally or illegally, and end up exploited in terrible working conditions. I was working recently with a Hungarian guy, who had a Bachelors degree from his home country, and works in a warehouse and has been there for many years, and lives in a part of the city that nobody would choose to live in unless they had no choice. He came legally, thinking that Britain would be full of wonderful opportunities and that he would be making great money, even doing menial work, because the wages are higher - of course, the wages are higher than they are in Hungary, but so is the cost of living, so he in fact ended up poorer, even though his wages were technically higher than what he would have been making in his home country. Now think about the people who are trafficked in illegally, forced to work off debts owed to traffickers in brothels - debts that they will never be able to pay back, sometimes with passports confiscated so that they cannot leave. Or males may be forced to work in begging rings, in cannabis farms, at car washes, working for less than the minimum wage and living with 18 other people in a three bedroom house. People must learn the truth about this - Britain is not a safe bet if you are looking for a better life; the government has created what it openly calls a "hostile environment" for people who make the journey here for work; the government is cruel towards immigrants, be they legal or illegal and, as I've said, it is hard enough being poor if you were born and bred in Britain. Also: F*CK BLOOD & HONOUR! F*CK FASCISTS AND NEO-NAZIS! NO PASARAN!
These néo nazis are only small groups atemting only thé été of everyone , they are realy small urgent of thé population of 7milion bulgarians ans plso bulgaria is not looking liké on this clip(i m living in Bulgaria).

Non sense. These groups are jokes. Go and speak to the wrestlers and MMA and weightlifters who run the drugs. These on the video are wannabe ideologists.
When government does not do its job, people will find organizations that seem to stand up. Stopping extremism is rather simple, government do your job. There will always be a few nutters but regular people won't follow them if the government does its job.
How many governments need to fail for you to stop relying on them smoothbrain? People need to become more self reliant, have good strong morales and work hard then the country would gradually improve
@@VeinyAngloid Governments exists for a good reason, taxes are paid for a good reason, if you can't understand why the government should be more responsible as an establishment, then you're probably only smoothbrain here.
@Terintia Flavius: The Bulgarian Government would never do anything because the people would never want to change, and they would remain always the same. I ran a lot of years ago, and I am happy whit my choice when I did it. It changed my life for good. Every third Bulgarian would accept a bribe in order to get silenced, and would not move its/her finger to do anything if someone sees women or children been beaten by their father/husband. If there is an outsider kid in the school, they would say this kid is supposed to change, and the teachers wouldn't do anything to stop the bullying. This is a national mentality and they would never change themselves and wishing people to change.
While I don't like the extreme of politics and find the presence of far right disturbing, I sympathise with the issues the young men articulated in this clip
If you're only concern is the far-right, you should probably re-evaluate the far-left with the same mindset. These far-right groups are dangerous and shouldn't be left unchecked, but don't act like the far-left is any better at all.
@@berno8535 I have spent the last two decades studying the identatrian left. The emergence of a militant far left in the form of Antifa is extremely worrying. What's even worse is how the media, institutions and politicians DO NOT call out these groups and individuals. The events in the US in summer 2020 were no surprise. Some of us saw them coming years ago. The way the violence is downplayed is disgusting!
No matter what your conclusion is about these paramilitary groups - they may be somewhat misguided but they all legitimately want better lives. It's a shame that everyone can't work together for the common good of everyone.
@@berno8535 I agree on whit all the statements here, I ran years ago when it was still socialism, and practically the mentality was the same. They wish not to work and only the government/state giving them what they wish and want, and they call it corruption because it is only this what is available to them to hear, I'm the best, I'm the cooler, I'm everything, and look where such thinking got us to nowhere. Emigration, hating each other, high quality of crime. The right-wing and the socialism done it to them in the first place, and they socialize whit others only if they want or wish something from the other, and not at the meant doing it to have friends this is their egotism. I don't how they are doing in other countries in the EU, I've only seen what is in the US and can't say it is a beautiful thing. Have you guys in that comments section seen anybody of them in the EU?
Ross came across you about a month ago via RU-vid. Hands down one of the best reporters out there. Good to know that there are people still willing to report true stories. God bless you and be safe out there mate. ,😇😇
He asks very superficial questions and doesn't connect what he is seeing with history. What makes him great, though, is his willingness to interview dangerous people in dangerous areas. But that's not unique to him there are combat reporters, for example.
Sorry love I'm already here. Since you want to hate Bulgarians based on a video pointing out a handful of negative aspects of our country, mostly about gypsies, how about I give you a reason to hate us? Xenophobic prick.
1 in 6 is gypsy in Bulgaria? Who told you that... the gypsies?? Official census: 84.8% Bulgarians 8.8% Turks 4.9% Roma (that is 1 in 14) 0.7% others... Very manipulative video and lots of factual mistakes!!!
@@scalychannel5897 am I an idiot because I state facts that doesnt fit your beliefs? If it's not manipulative, prove me wrong with stats, not with qualifications! WOW and 3 morons liked your comment!!! hahahahahha
Exactly, this videos i watch a 2nd one now for Bulgaria its full with bs and propaganda and disinformation and not to mention rofl this guy actualy believes what jypsies say and they almost always lie XD like they lie there is only 1 clan who have pickpockets thats bullshit
If you go to London near Warren Street Station, they are building the area up and there are lots of new offices and housing and on the pavement, there are around 50 Romanian gypsies or wherever they are from, and they are drinking, smoking, sleeping on mattresses, hanging their washing on the bench - it is worse than a slum just on that spot and none of us can understand how on earth this is being allowed to go on. Any woman should be really careful walking alone even in the early evening in London as it simply is not safe any more.
I have seen them there too. There used to be this Brass, Sax and Wind shop which has now relocated, they all gathered under that over-arch thing in front of its windows. It's enough to kill a business. It all got worse around 2012, they go all through London. Now they are all around Warren Station on that bridge and up and down Tottenham Ct Road. It's horrible. Police seem unable to do anything.
and they're sleeping all over the benches now in Cavendish Gardens. There are no police any more... the only time they come out is to stop people saying anything about what's going on... calling us all racists or haters if we even open our mouths, it's normal to hate bad stuff and they can't make us like it.
Mr.Ross....reall iam impressed by u r courage and firm stand when some rebels point a gun at u in another interview of rebels( by saying " you wouldn't kill me)....great salute u from India
@@yomomma8438 I seem to recall one of the pillars of the great nightmare of communism being 'destroy nation identity and accept transborder control' . Most nations on this earth have a policy of keeping their nationhood, controlling their borders and looking out for their own citizens. This doesn't equate to Nazism and they aren't Nazis. Get a fucking grip.
I think it is unfair to hide the date when this documentary was made. From the look of everything around I would assume it was made 10-15 years ago. While it is generally true what you convey in this video for that time, the video is already outdated.
That's crazy they're seeking these girls for a measly 80 euros. I don't know, maybe that's good money there but naturally I compare it to USD so it just sounds like so little. 🤷
Lol! Wondering 💭 if only covering there eyes and showing the rest there faces is just a little bit for the right one to see!! Ross saying “I won’t show your eyes” “don’t worry you won’t get caught “ 😂
Even if he shows their faces and makes them all show their driver's licences, thankfully, they won't be caught. It may seem racist (because it is, I'm not going to lie about that), but that's the only choice that we, the Bulgarians, have. That's how Bulgaria works.
Hello dude, i whant to do a simillar "documentary" About heroin adict , and drug diling on the streets of Bucharest, Romania, and hoppefully this will make atleast a small change or stopping this...
@Mark Richardson They are, they let all those people and then exit EU to stop working people from going there... We are Europeans, the same culture, the Arabs/gypsies are completely different. We let them do whatever they want but if we go there we get only problems.
and people wonder why people out there want to close the borders down from shit like this.... and this is just one of many examples, don't get me wrong i feel sorry for the shit these people are living in but change must happen from the top if their gov't doesn't give a shit nothing will change
To be fair the Bulgarian government hasn't give a shit for a long time. Although as a Bulgarian I'm not very familiar with Bulgarian politics as much as I'm familiar with politics in the UK which is definitely odd to say but as soon as the next generation of politicians comes, Bulgaria will be much better.
To be honest as a bulgarian I feel that Ross has painted quite a negative picture of my country. First Bulgaria i one of the fastest growing in the EU roughly double the average annual GDP of the EU26. Our cointry is being heavily invested in by foreign companies for the sake of an example I am going to mention that the city of Plovdiv has so much industry that North Industrial zone has become so overcrowded that companies are allocating there facilities in neibghouring municipalities. Only 2 days ago a new Mersedes factory was opened in the proximity of Plovdiv. Bulgaria is really stable contrary to popular belief and the politicians are not as corrupt as you are lead to think on this short video. Actually the ruling party was and still is purging politicians for corruption and breach of power. The median wage in my country has doubled in a period of 8 years where in Plovdiv that number is much greater. On the political side of the arguement the EU has recently stopped the monitoring act which essentially put Bulgaria as a corrupt state in the eyes of the european public. in 2020 we are due to enter into the second funding stage of European projects which helped us build 3 highways, modernize public transport, build and renovate the school infrastructure and lots of public projects not only that but a considerable amount of money was allocated for fueling bulgarianstart-up businesses by the EU. We are 3rd in the world in terms of Super-computer manufacturing, the most stable country on The Balkans and all this while we are helping West Bulgaria(Macedonia) become a fully-fledged member of the EU and NATO.
@@oisin3495 Our government doesn't care enough to invest where needed. I feel like when the next generation of politicians comes Bulgaria will improve but that's just a theory on my part.
Yes I agree, as a Bulgarian that has been born and raised in the uk I visit their multiple times a year and I can assure you that Bulgaria itself is not a shit hole it’s mainly the government!
Please shut up! Nobody cares about the "good" Bulgaria does when there's so much suffering and nobody cares. The fact that you can't even come up with anything even remotely connected to the topic of this video shows you're just taking pride for all the good and ignoring the bad or things that can be improved. And I'd have this exact same response to someone who claimed to be from U.S, or Africa or Mexico. People are suffering worldwide and turning a blind eye like you seem to be doing WON'T solve anything. I for one admire Ross for having these difficult discussions and raising awareness. I doubt you're doing anything even remotely similiar ...
