I'm glad he thinks positively of it. It's always a bit sad when you learn the actors despised being in a show you loved. I didn't have strong feelings about Austin & Ally, but I remember how big it was.
yea it's always nice to know that about actors. it may not have been the best show or their first choice but I'm glad some actors don't ignore or regret their past roles.
Ross has always seemed so kind and down to earth. I’m in my 20s now and just got back into watching A&A, and I totally agree with him. In fact, as an adult, I feel like the show got funnier with every season.
Couldn’t agree more. I was in the austin&ally fandom back than in 2014 (had a fan acc on EVERY social media platform; instagram, twitter, and even wrote so many fanfics on wattpad) and even though that was 10 years ago (I’m 22 now) I can still watch it and enjoy it. I really loved the cast and producers of Austin & Ally. It really changed my life back than. Some may say it’s only a TV show but it was so much more to me. Thank you @ everyone who was part of this amazing Show. ♥️
same. I've always loved Austin and ally cus I always felt like it was such a genuine show. it was genuinely funny and it didn't feel forced. I also feel like besides the fact that it was an awesome show, the cast behind the scenes genuinely loved each other and have a close bond even to this day. im 20 and I still be watching this show like crazy
i love how positively he thinks and speaks of the show, like a lot of disney stars kinda start hating on the shows that gave them their recognition, so i’m glad he doesn’t do that cause i loved a&a and still do
it's catered for the whole family, same goes for every other show that was on disney and nick up until the end of that era of tv shows victorious, icarly, wizards, suite life etc. I'm 24 now and i remember being 11 when the first season came out, I've rewatched the entire series several times now thanks to disney+ and i love it just as much then as i do now.
Thank you Zach for another great interview. I’ve been loving the way you interact with the people you interview ever since your first bts interview. Thank you for your great work ! The show business needs more people like you !♥️
i completely agree. i loved this show growing up, and am obsessed as a teenager now. i know that is not going to change into my adult years either. it’s a great show with things for everyone. it’s funny and deep. shows a lot of things that many high schoolers go through, and even adults since they start their careers so young, and eventually start a business in season 4 and are out of high school. it had a lot of mature plot lines while still being funny and entertaining to younger viewers. the humor is not too kiddy in my opinion either, so that can be enjoyed by all ages. it tells a beautiful love story alongside with showing the amazing story of all four of them as the best of friends. the music is fantastic. the actors did a wonderful job. this show is just perfect
My Disney playlist: That’s so raven Lizzie McGuire Jonas brothers The suite life on deck Hannah Montana Andi Mack Austin & ally K.C undercover Good luck Charlie Jessie Phineas and ferb Gravity falls I Carly Victorious Boy meets world Girl meets world Lab Rats Mighty med Lab rats elite force Liv and Maddie Dog with a blog Kickin it Wizards of weaverly place Smart guy Sister sister Ant farm I’m on Hannah Montana and I started it like December😂😂😂❤(I was born in 2009 btw😂❤) Edit: Can’t believe I finished Austin and ally😢
I could rewatch this series from start to finish again and again and never get tired of it. Love this show. It’s actually timeless in my book. Nostalgic
I have been watching Austin and ally for I don’t even remember how long. Every summer I rewatch the whole show. And every time a song comes on I can sing all of the words. This show really changed my life positively. ❤
Bro I remember as a kid watching austin and ally when it first came out nostalgia hits so hard it’s crazy man ross lynch looks so different got a beard now he’s a grown man face looks bulked up wonder what he does nowadays I miss those days of my childhood ❤
I totally agree, I loved watching it on TV and now at 24 years old, I watch it again every 2 years because it amuses me a lot. And the songs still live on my playlist
I loveeeee Austin and ally when I was younger…❤ I actually went and see Ross’s family band R5 play in I think it was Memphis or Nashville at the little place
Aside from Wizards of Waverly Place, Austin & Ally was the only other show I watched on Disney Channel. Dez always cracked me up with how goofy he was. One of the few "kids shows" that I genuinely enjoyed and that legitimately made me laugh.
i had just had my first surgery and i was ready to get out of rehab. but i made my mom wait for me to watch the austin and ally finale i cried at the end and it made my day. ill never forget that
Dude, I re-watched Jessie, good luck Charlie, Austin and Ally Ant Farm even like Shake it Up Hannah Montana Suite Life, Phineas and Ferb, and I still catch myself, laughing at the jokes sometimes even though the shows were targeted for kids and the shows are like 10+ years old. They were definitely made for a wide range of ages not just kids❤and I also love how they’re timeless.
This may be a bit of a biased take because I did see this show as a kid and loved it so I have a lot of nostalgia, but I recently watched the show again on Disney plus for the second time only(I'm 23 now) and the shoe is still very enjoyable. The songs are obviously great and catchy, they teach some good lessons throughout, Ross and Laura have really good chemistry togethor as does the whole main cast pretty much and the humor definently stands the test of time so far. This show is definently more than a kids show fs.
I'm a year older than Ross and I still fricken love Austin and Ally. I got judged by my ex mother in law for watching it right after having my daughter and I was like "as opposed to what? Sex lies cheating and murder?" and then she put on Kardashians and I was like yep because that's quality tv right there! 😂😂
I understand his perspective but a kids show doesn't necessarily have to be something only kids can like. We should give children quality content to watch and not just the bare minimum because it was made for kids. There is plenty of quality "kids" content.
Austin&Ally one of the better Disney Channel shows. I will always love that show. It’s one of my favorites and I love listening to the music from that show. That show had some banger songs.
Personally do I consider it a Kids show? -Yes. But the messages I took from it are still of value to me now at age 27 and a lot of the situations around "love" I did not understand as a kid but came back to me through my relationships. To name one big example, I was in love with a woman who was in a not-so-pleasant relationship and I felt she was into me too, I had my doubts due to the mortality of it, but felt she belonged to me in my bones and I went for it and succeeded. Despite it being against my character, I do not regret it.... Austin and Ally was one of the shows that portrayed "the battle of/to love" quite well.
Bro I’m 13 and started watching Austin and ally and I love the show when I finished it I just started watching it over again and then watched teen beach movie and I’m now watching teen beach movie 2 I love these types of shows
I am personally twelve years old and I have watch this show for years and this was my life and I just restarted it for probably my 3rd time and within 9 days today I am already on season 4 episode 13
I was born in the 90s i stopped watching disney channel in 2013, i didn't watch austin and ally wasn't interested i watched ant farm until it was canceled and that was the last of that for me, good luck Charlie and shake it up was also interesting to me, i didn't watch disney xd either just pair of kings
I just watched the first episode can confirm it definitely had some tween to adult jokes that would go over a kids head…I know Cus I was a kid and it completely went over my head 😂😂 still loved the show tho😊
I stopped watching Disney Channel by the time i was in middle school and I didn't know the show was going on after that. It ended in 2016 and i was like really i thought it ended in 2014
