That’s how teams cover up shitty quarterback play man. That’s why the nfl has been “dumbed down” because there aren’t very many elite qb’s and colleges down run a pro style offense
Yeah I mean he plays for unlv and he’s still only completing 48% of his passes Let’s not pretend they beat Texas and Oklahoma or something They are 3-0 right now but they will likely end up being barely bowl eligible even if he stays We gotta stop overreacting to college teams who are “undefeated” after 3 games. He could get 500k next year But he ain’t clearing a million because he wouldn’t start for any respectable power 4 team. Which makes even the 500k sound like a stretch. But he must’ve been really bamboozled to just walk away. However he is still letting his teammates down by walking away. Regardless of if an offer was made or not. And if it was not a written and signed contract he is also damaging the reputation of the school because he took the word of a coach who had nothing to do with actually paying the players.
Pretty sure I saw the Collective (there could be more than one tho) at UNLV saying that, incredibly, that they had no agreement with the starting QB. But that is what he ostensibly should have had/done, is ink a deal with that organization.
Once again the Giants quarterback could win 10 straight games and he still shouldn't have got paid a 160 million dollars a year it is completely and utterly disrespectful to every other position in the NFL
I've been a Ross Tucker fan for years. I try to listen to The Ross Tucker Podcast daily. I thought that he was great in the booth in Colorado a couple weeks ago. I'm looking forward to seeing him on A Lion's games this season. Last season Ross Tucker and Greg Cosell broke down the Lions offense so well that I even understood it.
Once again that's what happens when you pay 2 players 400 million dollars and act like they're gonna save you did not spread the money around it's nonsense I'm not saying the Dallas quarterback doesn't deserve some kind of money but it goes to show you the same thing with the jaguars quarterback didn't come anywhere close to deserve a 200 million dollars let alone a 100 period
