*Completely random... But worth a look! Check out some potentially forgotten WCW roster rants!* *Which was your favourite rant from the video? What superstar convinced you to pick them? **#TEAM101* *****2019 UPDATE***** Check out the WWE RANTS version: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mSuvDfx_IcE.html
5:05 Translation: "Big Poppa Pump! Yersterpernerm amee, yer ner find out the man with a large zahms a whirl does whatever he wants. Ym fawnot wada call me The Superstar."
The thunder rants felt kinda weird in a good way, because you get this mix of laid back 90s promos with DDP, Hall and Nash, but also shouty 80s promos with Anvil and Piper. I like it.
Anvils was funny because he laughs like a maniac and the looks off camera and then stops lol. Pipers promo was awesome and funny, I still enjoy it to this day.
Blake James you just put them in front of a green screen and make em talk to the player to choose them, not hard lol. We don't need it today, but it would be funny and entertainin g imo
What I found out playing WCW Thunder: -- The man with the largest arms in the world does whatever he wants -- Why they call Scott Steiner "The Superstar" -- Who's next -- What it's like when Disciple puts "The Apocalypse" and drops me -- What the Germans are about -- What "silent but violent" is all about
"*PICK MEEE!!!!!*What's Wrong?I heard Nash! "Please don't pick me" *FINE* I can Smash Nash!!" That was the coolest of the cool and the best one...at least for me 😂
Kevin Nash: "Don't Pick Me. You don't have the mental skill,so go pick Hogan,or some other loser". Rowdy Roddy Piper: "PICK ME!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? I HEARD NASH,Nash said don't pick me. FINE!! CAUSE I CAN SMASH NASH. Pick Hogan? Pffff!! Put him to sleep 3 times!! Pick Me,You Know Why? BECAUSE EVERYBODY'S GONNA HAVE TO PAY THE PIPPER!!!"
Holy shit sounds corney but just watching the first minute of this really brought me back, u know when u where young and didn't really have a worry in the world, shits crazy man
That Sting promo he did with the white face paint was his first promo changing into the crow gimmick. You can see he was trying to incorporate his old style with the new style at first with no shirt and talking then he eventually just changed it to a full body suit, trench coat, and not talking.
@@BrionTV it wasn't super imposed it was when he was first doing the gimmick and painted his entire face with the two lines. He was trying different methods before landing on the mute version.
Wolfpac Sting was definitely leaving a lot to be desired. This was the rough time in Stings personal life before becoming a born again Christian so maybe he just didn't care at this time. In regards to other comments I think Sting 99-01 after the NWO ended started to really find himself giving promos and he carried that on to TNA where he prolly did his best promo work of his career.
The remaining 63 wrestlers that can only be unlocked by cheat codes or a Gameshark: (There was some real WCW wrestlers in the remaining 63) --- Real: Johnny Grunge Rocco Rock Glacier Prince Iaukea Mike Tenay Lee Marshall Doug Dillinger Spice Whisper Tygress Frye A.C. Jazz Chae Ric Flair [Lightweight] --- --- Fictional: Inland Crew Bonus Wrestlers: Zoomie Jamie the Learned Stingray Cobra Reanimator Sleep Dopep 5 o' Clock Tray Uncle Monkey Dude Man Chicken Boy Dynamite Johnny Beniji Wrestling Matt Goodnie Devastating Dorizon Mc Myque Veal THQ Crew Bonus Wrestlers: Dave Hoffman Leland Man Sanders Donn Nauert John Ardell The Wackies Bonus Wrestlers: Chromeclone Wireframe Short Circuit Robot Tiffany Pane Astronaut Claude Rains Arge and Varge Indian Cowboy Star Fish Squire Sargeant Bessie Guerilla Adam Mantis Sailor Zait Suit Flapper Crush Depth Snuffy Bobby" --- I wonder why Public Enemy, Glacier and Prince Iaukea were part of the 63 hidden wrestlers (playable by cheat code and Gameshark only) and not part of the WCW Thunder's official 64 roster.
Bejita666 he had the brain of a 95 year old Alzheimer patient his father had his brain scanned. He died in the ring, if you know anything about people with dementia, you would know that they don't know what they are doing. He is forgiven by his father and family. Understanding education and prevention is key.
BHsoFunny when he first became big poppa pump he had Superstar airbrushed on his tights. They went through white thunder and Superstar before they came up with big poppa pump.
Yeah right after he split up with Rick Steiner and joined NWO he was known as "The Superstar" Scott Steiner for a little bit, if you play WCW/NWO Revenge on N64 you'll see Superstar on his tights.
HyperionTesla Dude Anvil faced a dub of crack in one hit before that promo! And poor Crush...his promo skills were just tragically disastrous... worst of all he was clearly trying. Bulldog's on the other hand was surprisingly good, and of course Piper owned it.
RyanXRayne I assumed it was the WCWs obsessive storyline with Giant being Andres son. Kind of a call back to the original Giant who actually stood at 7'4. Hogan at 6'8 is fucking preposterous lmao. I'm trying to find more horrible inaccuracies in this.
fun idea, seems they should have recorded two for each wrestler, one where you choose them for your character/ally and one where you face them as an opponent
this is a lost art let me tell you. These guys have 10 seconds to get as much of their character over as possible. I fucking love it, would love to see wrestlers of today do this.
Ultimo Dragon was great. Had the high flying and submission skills thanks to his time in Japan and Mexico before his 2 years in WCW. Great matches with Mysterio, Malenko, Jericho, Steve Regal, Jushin Liger, Psychosis, Eddie, Alex Wright, etc. Good stuff
After watching this, I noticed that there are 7 wrestlers that are no longer on this Earth anymore WCW NITRO (whoever is on this list also appeared on WCW Thunder as well) 1. Eddie Guerrero reason: died on November 13, 2005 in his hotel room 2. Chris Benoit reason: double-murder suicide (or what people think) on June 26, 2007 in his own home 3. Macho Man Randy Savage reason: died due to a heart attack while driving with his wife on May 20, 2011 in Florida WCW Thunder 1. Curt Henning (AKA: Mr. Perfect) reason: died on February 10, 2003 due to acute drug intoxication 2. Brian Adams reason: died due to drug overdose on August 13, 2007 3. Bulldog/Davey Boy Smith (Also known as "The British Bulldog") reason: died due to myocardial infarction on May 18, 2002 4. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper reason: died peacefully in his sleep on July 31, 2015
