I still remember that goodbye video that The WB put out with the actors from all of those series thanking the fans as the station signed off for the last time. Such a classy move.
I can't hear the intro without feeling really sad like I lost something. I was a teenager when they played this show, it kind of make me feel like one everytime I hear it 😅
It’s suppose to make the listener sad because it is suppose to incite feelings of longing because the idea of this show, a drama that, as another youtube comment on this video states, was ahead of its time, based its story around people wanting to be with those they connected with but couldnt and were separated.
Wow….. I have the exact same feeling when I hear certain songs or think of certain things, specifically Roswell and Dawsons Creek. I’m a 36 year old from the Southwest side of Chicago and these shows represented something for me I can’t begin to explain. I feel sad when I hear songs from the shows for some odd reason. Thanks for posting your comment
Three generations of my family watched Roswell together. We loved the show and thought the cast had great chemistry especially Michael and Maria. They didn't like each other at first but there was something there. When he kissed her to shut her up we all cheered.
From a bygone era, this, buffy, geeks & freaks, angel, charmed etc. Everything was so much better, simple, less preachy, normal etc I'd go back in a heartbeat
The original Roswell series touched us in the depths of our collective soul. Nothing else can ever come remotely close. I can't even watch a minute of this current remake. It feels like it's missing everything.
Imma bAbaShOok You are correct about that. It is a tourist trap and they nailed that perfectly. Although I wish they would have taken the incident a little more serious because there is a story there that is interesting
I was in high school when this show first aired, and I was in high school when it ended; my senior year in fact. No other show brings me back to my high school days as Roswell does. The CW's reboot is kinda bringing it all back. I only wish they used the same opening title sequence for nostalgia's sake. Its got me re-watching the original series on Hulu.
I love this song so much every time I hear this song I think of Roswell I just heared this song today so I came here to hear it again. I miss Roswell it Was a great show and I liked Liz and Max they were a cute couple
Great series. My favorite feels episode being the “A Roswell Christmas Carol” episode where Max cures all the cancer kids in the hospital. It's one of those X-mas themed things I make everyone watch each year.
American shows do this a lot. You have to be good on Jesus's birthday. But be nasty the rest of the year. Christmas episodes for this reason I don't like.
I didn't like it because Max got too weak, he couldn't take it anymore. Also, in season 1 episode 4, he had told Liz that he wasn't God and now he starts healing all these kids, he could have left 2 or 3 kids because at some point it didn't feel natural anymore.
The level of detail in the season 3 into is superb. Anytime they feature a human, they’re in an amber light. Any time one of the aliens is featured, they always appear in blue. And then of course their names are the only ones to go from a different alphabet to an English one. Just superb!
when time was still good, music was still awesome and shows made us being glued to the tv. I was in my first year in uni back then and this was the shit back then! Great show! no phones no nothing! it was amazing time and I miss it :(
When I first heard about this TV series Roswell I was like here we go another television series is going to be wasting everybody's time and money wasn't worth putting on television at. But after the third or fourth episode I was totally hooked on Roswell. Then every week when it came on I watched it big time. Matter of fact I enjoyed and I loved watching it.yes I had became a big fan Of Roswell.+ I also loved the theme song ((Dido here with me)) is the coolest song for a TV series theme song Loved it too. But then when they ended the series I was totally bummed out. Like seriously I thought it was bullcrap that they had to take Roswell off the air. So I am hoping somewhere down the line if that will ever happen that they will do a reunion.
I would like to experience the exact what I feel in 2012 with a different way of life for the years to come. With something like that to recognize it by. Really great show
agree... first season is about introducing these human-aliens to us, second season is about their alien side and making us miserable roswell fans,,breaking up of parker-evans,, alex was killed.. third is about their human side and giving us hopes of another season...
TheNWPSL Nice description :) I have mixed feelings about the third season but yeah, I agree with you. The first season will always be the most perfect set of episodes ever - it had everything.
Cant believe that it ended so fast. All the couples had the chemistry that every tv show needs. I miss it so much, I think that if the make a new s of Roswell w all its main actors they have great ratings.
just finished them all !!!!!!!!!!!!!! remembered when i was young en always wondered how it ended !!!! surprisingly even after 20 years ore so i still remembered some episodes en scenes WAUW
Love this show! The way Max looks at Liz through the window at 0:18 is so beautiful. Great acting by Behr. I really wish the show had gotten at least one more season. And the Dido song was perfect for the series!
Back in 2004, I learned my English speaking in Brooklyn by re-watching this show on DVDs which were bought on Amazon. I still love it the most! 🥰 I even named myself "Max" in the U.S. after this show.
